I JUST found out some exciting news for a program that a couple of my students are doing. They are coordinating a community service project through a national organization called DoSomething.or. They are collecting jeans to help homeless kids. I got tasked to be their faculty sponsor since one of the kids is mine!
I just found out that we do not have to turn them in for them to count for our school - so if you have any old jeans that you can no longer wear or your kids have outgrown (any brand, any size) you can turn them in to your local Aeropostale store. You get a 25% OFF coupon for every pair you turn in and if you tell them it if for Dora School in Missouri and tell me, the kids here will get the credit for it! I have to know so the kids can report it in their count.
This program ends February 12. Hope you will be able to help. PS. The school where I teach has only 350 kids from PK - 12. They have already collected over 500 pairs at the school! Thanks ahead of time from some hard-working kids trying to make a difference in the world!

Waving That's a wonderful program and it looks like your students are doing a great job! Wish I lived near an Aeropostale store.
