CHANGE ON HOW TO ENTER-----  ok it has been brought to my attention that maybe some may not have any ideas, and I want everyone to  be able to enter, so just say something you like or any contest that you think is really cool, you can acually post about anything you want and I will count it, I am pretty lax on the rules business and stuff like that, just want to have fun.     Hi all. Time for another MOC. This time it will  June 2nd at 8am central time, It will run until June 16th at midnight.  Every time you post an idea for a new feature you would like to see on SA or something you would like improved you will be entered one time. Only one entry per day. If you have no ideas you can post a feature you really like or want more of. And its ok to post something you don't care for also.  AT the end each time you posted will count as one entry and the prizes will be awarded by random. More commonly known as my hubby throwing a dart at all the names on a wall. The prizes are as follows.
1.   A $100 gift certificate to live nation, can be used to purchase concert tickets or mechanize, they have allot of music merchandise, hoodies, cds, albums,bandannas, t-shirts, poster, collectors items, ect. You do have to pay shipping, but when I used mine it was only $10 shipping.
2.   A mothersday brooch. Silver and very pretty APR.$69.00
3.  2 handheld Yahtzee games  awarded separately.
4.   Silent Hill and The Dark on DVD awarded separately. Number 3 & 4 prizes have been donated by SA administration.

Since you asked---

Ideally, I would like to have the option, in My Sweeps, to limit the number of items listed in sweeps I have saved,  to 10 per page, instead of 20. This is because I love Sweeps Pop, and I find it easier to wait for 10 sweeps to launch than for 20.

 

 

I really enjoy reading the posts in the Winner's Circle for lots of reasons.

I love the positive atmosphere, where people are happy about winning, even if the prize is small. Sometimes it takes so much patience to enter daily, on an IW for example, and finally win some chocolate or a gift card, and we all know how good that feels! Other wins are huge and awesome, and they remind us that it really is possible, and I love how other SA members congratulate the winners. It is really great to hear when an SA member wins a grand prize.

Seeing winning screen shots is fun too!

So, on the longer running contests that are daily entries, do you find that you miss them when they end?  I find that when the year long ones end, I am a little sad on the last day of entry, the usual "sorry not a winner this time" not being there any more. . . just me?

I like how people at SA help each other with basic things. Sometimes, you just can't find where to click to enter a sweeps, and someone will point out that little spot on the bottom left, or other times you can't find a specially marked item for a code or upc and someone will help you out. Little things do make a difference. 

Voted for the day.  Eflynn, sorry your having a rough time, you are in my prayers and I hope things get better. 

I love the community of SA.  While most of us don't even know each other and will never actually meet face to face, most still are very supportive and helpful with each other.  Support each other in difficult times, smile with each other over good times (and good wins), grumble with each other over yet another M&M's "Sorry, not a winner" (ok, that one is me, still haven't won on the #$*@&-ing IW).  Just a nice place to be

After reading the last few posts, I would have to say that some of my favorite things about SA are how supportive members are of each other and how expressive/articulate some members are. I often read posts and think, "I know exactly what you mean!" On the other hand, sometimes the forums are silly and that is fun too.

One thing I would like to see on SA in more purple  .  What I mean by that is you know how each sweeps listing turns from blue to purple after you click on it showing that you have at been to that site? (in the new today's the colors are red and green).  I would like to see each category name in My Sweeps turn from blue to purple after I have clicked on that category.  Sometime when I have left my computer for a while I forget where I am in my entering.  If the categories I have already done were purple I would know where to start.

And I love seeing SA at the top of the list... been at the top of MY list since I joined!  I vote each day and always check the site in #2 to see if they have more people vote yesterday than we did cause I don't want them catching us.

I love that people who are voting for all those other sites are seeing what we have known all along . . . that SA is number one!

This morning after getting the wee dragon on the bus, I sat here drinking my coffee and looking at my garden and watched a chipmunk.  This tiny little animal was carrying this huge leaf.  It was over his head, little stem clenched between his teeth and all I could see was this leaf running across my front deck and under it.  He went for another and dragged that one under too.  Then I see a white pansy running across my deck and I debated what I should do . . . now I am seeing a red one go by and I have no idea how to get rid of chipmunks.   

   voted again... feeling WAY better only now after sleeping for almost a week w/just a few hours of non sleeping doing computer (barely) now I can't fall asleep at all.       But I'd rather feel happy and peaceful and awake than miserable and no energy. Thanks again for your thoughts, prayers and positive energy that u sent out in my behalf. It is working.  I truly believe in prayer. Its been proven in experiments that groups of people who prayed for plants in various locations for this study did way better than the plants that were NOT prayed for...as weird as praying for plants sound. Living things r energy and what is sent out affects other living things.... The old addage of Garbage out...garbage in.  Kharma and all that....  So when i keep kind thoughts for all (which is not always easy for me to do) and try to love one another and it will be returned to me in kind.
