The sounds of silence

Im loving it. :sunny:Took the kids to barnes and noble and they are all in their rooms reading. Its sooooo quite. If books werent so expensive I would take them more often. Im sooo happy they enjoy reading. I got a book too. The traveler by john twelve hawks- been reading alot about it. I will let ya know if its any good.

Isn't it wonderful when they sit and read. I sure miss those weekly visits to the library with my grandkids. We always looked forward to library day.

Me and my two girls love going to Books A Million. We get us a coffee and just sit for hours. I'm always afraid they will come ask us to buy something or get out. We always manage to leave with a purchase. Those books are expensive aren't they. Maybe I will win that Sweet 16 contest with the books!!!!!!!!! sunny

My daughter has been entering those too. Books are very expensive. Thats why I love winning them. If you are just buying a couple its not so bad. But their is five of us. so, It gets pricey. About the only thing I miss about Florida is the huge used bookstore we would go to. I havent been able to find one up here yet. still looking though.
