If there are any sweepers from there or surrounding area. please let me say from the very bottom of my heart.

You all are in my thoughts and prayers.  May God protect and bless each and every one of you.

My thoughts and prayers are with the people in Joplin, MO also.  My husband and I drove truck for 20 years for 2 companies based in Joplin.  I haven't been back there for 7 years now (since we retired in 2004).  While watching the coverage on CNN and WeatherChannel, I didn't recognize anything.  The total devastation is heartbreaking.  I shopped at the WalMart that was destroyed and ate at the restaurants on Rangeline Rd that were destroyed.

My aunt lives in Joplin. We finally got a hold of her last night. She is fine, thank God. Her apartment building is still standing but has no windows and her car is missing. God bless those people. I cannot even imagine going through that.

So glad your Aunt is OK.  Her car and apartment building can and will be replaced but her life could not be.  As hard as things probably are for her right now she is one of the lucky ones.  I think the whole country is keeping Joplin and its residents in their prayers, I know I am!

I have actually cried for the pain these people are suffering, both physically and emotionally. the two videos that I seen where you could hear the people screaming and children calling for their  mommies really tore at my heart.  I wish I could be there just to give them  a hug and whatever comfort I could.
