2 weeks ago I got back from my AOL/Disney Expedition Everest Disneyworld vacation.   It was fab.  I won it in March 2 days before I flew to Disney and I had only been sweeping for 6 weeks.   If I never get another GP, I will still be happy.  For me this was the trip of all trips!

:D That's wonderful debiver! Congratulations to you. I have been sweeping for years and still have not won a trip.  I won't give up until I do.

I've never won a trip, or anything actually valuable (nothing over $100) so I thought I should post here for luck!  :D

Hi, In march I was the grand prize winner in  the Dos Equis Exxplore the taste of adventure national sweepstakes.  I won a trip to acapulco mexico for 3 nights, 4 days which included activities, 2500 dollars in spendiing money among other things.  The trip was worth 10,000 dollars.  My husband and I decided to go last week during our anniversary.  We had an amazing time and wish we could have stayed longer!  This was my first non-instant win.  I hope to win more in the future!  Good luck to everyone and hope you win a big one soon!

In September, I won the Fly Away w/ Nolan Ryan contest sponsored by Southwest Airlines in which I had to write an essay about my favorite baseball hall of famer (which is Gaylord Perry). I got to play in a softball game at Legends Field in Cooperstown, NY with the other winners against a Southwest Employee team in which Nolan Ryan actually pitched to us! It was completely surreal. And I went 2 for 3 off him with a run scored and an RBI =). No doubt something I will tell my children some day.

I also got to tour the Hall of Fame while it was closed to the public and have a huge dinner in the plaque gallery in which I actually had a beer and chatted with Nolan himself. I couldn't believe it! I got plenty of autographed stuff and he actually autographed the jersey I wore in the game after I made a diving stop at 3rd base and threw the runner out to end the game. He actually said "that was a hell of play son." I'm still numb from the whole experience. Southwest Airlines is the BEST. They paid for everything, even a fancy dinner at a steakhouse in Albany, NY in which there was an OPEN BAR. lol That was a fun night. I wish I had a way to post the picture on here, but I don't really know how to do that.

A little late, but I won a trip in August 2005 to American Idol Concert in Las Vegas.  My hubby didn't think the whole thing was free and real until after we got back...LOL!  It was awesome.

Can see photos at:  http://s121.photobucket.com/albums/o229/cbonefixer/American%20Idol%202005/

Now I am planning a trip to Los Angeles for this spring for me and my son.  I won $1000 in airline vouchers this past May.

Thank you SA for such a wonderful site, I am so addicted.

This has been a good year for me with trip wins - but all were tricky wins.

The best was a two week trip to New Zealand. Awesome ( the trick was that it was only for one person) I went in November and had a great time!!!! I won this one as a college alum

The next best was a weekend at a really fancy hotel in Manhatten ( Gansevoort) and $2,000 worth of treatments from MedRX. (the trick was no airfare included - however we have plenty of airmiles  :D )

The third prize was three nights in Cabo San Lucas at a beautiful resort (Pueblo Bonito Pacifica Holistic) - but alas no airfare. It turned out we had vouchers on a airline that flew there. This was from Harper's Bazaar.

Hoping for more trips next year!!! That is my favorite win.....maybe Superbowl in Miami????

Congrats on the win - stinks though it will end up on the taxes for this year. But a trip with an ARV of 11,000.00 must be real good.

Things are finally starting to get back to normal for us since coming home from the Super Bowl. What an experience!! We had a 4-room suite at the Mutiny Hotel in Coconut Grove complete with full-size fridge & dishwasher. Hubby wondered why the fridge wasn't stocked with food & beer if it was such a "full" kitchen.   I said I didn't want to leave the dishwasher since we don't have one at home! We went to South Beach on Fri. and attended a winners' reception that night at the Grand Bay hotel. We even met a fellow SA sweeper (Hi luge35!!!) and it was fun to hear how the others had lucked into their wins. Sat. we went to the NFL Experience next to the stadium which was a total blast. They had a bunch of different interactive activities, cool displays, and we got an autograph from Travis Henry of the Tennessee Titans. Then came THE DAY!!! I don't think I have ever been so completely soaked in all my life but we had excellent seats and all Hubby & I could do was look at each other &  :D since we were actually at the SUPER BOWL! Prince at half time was a lot better than I expected & it was an exciting game. Found out later that I sat next to an ex-Colts player during the game. (Wish I would have actually believed him & gotten a picture but figured almost anyone could say they used to play & I'd have no way of knowing if it was true or not.) We have been so blessed with good fortune in ways other than my winning sweepstakes that it just seems like icing on the cake. Everyone here at SA is so very supportive, helpful & friendly and I just want to thank everyone and wish you all the best of luck for winning your heart's desire. I just can't wait to see what comes next!

I can still hardly believe it happened and that we were actually there. I also have a few photos to share but am not sure how to do it here. Didn't take as many pics as we usually do when we do anything. (Camera nuts here---have countless photos of the barn swallows that nest on one corner of our house each year & other assorted pics that no one else would care about.) It was raining so dang much we didn't want to ruin the camera. Still got some good ones of half time from my trusty phone (cost less than the camera so didn't matter as much) and lots of cool ones from the NFL Experience the day before. Oh yeah, the face is STILL hurting from the grin!  :D

After over 25 years of sweeps I finally won a grand prize.  The wife and I and two friends will be going to Tuscany Italy for a week's stay in a villa.  All airfare, three chef provided dinners, 5 1/2 days private chauffeur and multiple area tours including Florence.
The sweeps was the A&E "Just Got Made" Sweepstakes ending January,  I believe.   We're excited ... ERV $32,000.
Keep on trying
