I won a trip to any of the 50 states in the U.S.A. from the History channel's promotion sweeps of their program-The States so I took the farthest most expensive one I could.I live in South Florida so I took the Alaska vacation package.Tickets for 2,a set of Samsonite luggage,a rental car,a 100 dollar gas card and hotel rooms.I won the trip after entering sweeps for about 3 months.

Hey you bums! Sending greetings from the Fisher Island Club just south of South Beach, Florida. The weather is great and the rain this morning was warm and wet. The single room we were supposed to have (at $400/night) was unavailable .... so they upgraded us to a 2 bedroom oceanview suite which goes for a mere $1800/night! And yes: it is that nice. The peacocks are friendly and the little lizards keep us company. Eat your hearts out kids! I will be posting back every day to let you know how the trip is going.  |

Just me ... I am having a really tough time here. Eating Gourmet meals .... ... watching nubile, tan young ladies playing beach volleyball ... ... cruising around south beach and getting a sunburn on my noggin ... ... relaxing at the resort's waterfront bar tossing back rum & cokes ... ... getting "turn-down" service with imported chocolates on my pillow every night ... ... yep, it really is terrible here! |

I made a post about the win also, but thought I would post it here also.
Trip Prize – trip for winner and one (1) guest to Miami, FL to see T-Pain at a venue on 11/13/09 at 8:30 PM (local Miami time). Trip consists of roundtrip coach air travel between major commercial airport near winner’s residence and Miami; 3 days/2 nights standard hotel accommodations in Miami (hotel of Sponsor’s sole choosing); ground transportation between Miami airport and hotel and between hotel and Concert venue. Approximate Retail Value: $2,200 each.
Already called and verified everything, have to send the affy back by the 13th.
