I did post this win a few weeks back but thought it might be better to post it on "trip wins" and give an update. I won the Skagen 20th Anniversary Sweep Stake to Skagen, Denmark. Although the trip has not actually been planned yet, all the releases have now been signed. Skagen has been great to deal with and the flights etc. should be in the planning stage soon. The winners have been announced on their site and we are now waiting for them to take our picture for their advertisement. We have never been overseas so it is a little nerve racking as to all we should know. My husband has been on line finding out as much as he can about the country--driving, places to visit etc. Wish us luck!!  |

I won the Grand Prize trip for February 1-4 to the Bud Light Hotel in South Beach, FL. Initially, I didn't think the Army would give my husband leave due to less of a week's notice. They did!! We had a blast!!!!!

Won a trip to Cancun, Mexico last year. Had a great time - all-clusive.
So far this year, I've just one a one night stay at a indoor waterpark. I've been through a dry spell and haven't won anything in over a month and a half.

I won a grand prize trip to anywhere Southwest flies at the end of 2009. It was "Subway Land of the Lost Promotion". My husband and I chose to fly to Hollywood for 4 days and we stayed at the Sheraton Universal Hollywood. Oh oh thats the game I was a monthly winner for $1,000. Glad to see someone from SA won the grand prize. I just love Subway. I send for them all the time but have a prob loading money on my subway card so I just send cash. I got a 50 itune card I pulled off the tag and most of the code was lost so now it might just be a total losss. ARGGGGGH That will teach me to go to the hospital get home get a wonderful win give it as a Christmas card get it sent back and then 5 months later say just dagnabbit I will use it. I so wanted to buy the Blindside. Oh well. Congrats!  Z wow London??? WTG! WTG EVERYONE! |

Haven't won any trips yet. But you guys seem to enjoy yours, Hawaii and BBQ sounds like a good year! Love reading about all your travels fellow sweepers....Can I be someones plus one? That is if my luck doesn't change soon.

You will love St. Thomas. Have only been there by cruise ship but have always enjoyed it. Congratulations on a absolutely wonderful win! Have a great time!

Congrats on your trip wins everyone. I won a trip to Orlando a few years back. Included hotel and tickets to Universal and Epcot. Hubby and I had a really good time (we drove as we live in Ft. Lauderdale). I hope everyone gets the chance to experience a trip win, they are really great!!!

Two years ago I won a trip to Barbados. I had never been to the Caribbean and always wanted to go so it was a dream come true. The resort we stayed at was beautiful. We got four nights there and I wished we could have stayed a few more nights, my husband and I were having such a great time! The only downside was the food and drinks were not included and that was so expensive. I wish we had also got some spending money. But we had a wonderful time and I'll remember it forever.

Won a trip off facebook last night on the intrepid travel page. 2 weeks all inclusive safari trip to africa!!! OMG I am so excited and nervous at the same time we leave March 29th !  Also November 2010 won a trip on facebook to the bahamas all expense paid on the budlight port paradise cruise and to cocoa kay for a private island concert! best cruise I have ever been on they really took care of us. |
