Maybe someone can explain tweeting to me.  I don't have a twitter account but so many of the sweeps are now giving extra entries if you tweet.  Now I am rather technically challenged so I will say what my impression of tweeting is and then maybe someone will tell me what is wrong with my thinking, cause I am sure I have to be wrong or no one would tweet.  In my mind I think tweeting is like sending out text messages to everyone one who follows you.  Frankly, I have limited texting on my phone and wouldn't want to get a text everytime a friend stops for coffee or something.  Can twitter be done without a cell phone?  Can you tweet without followers?  Hopefully someone can explain it to me.  Thanks!

It is sending messages like texting, but that really seems like the only similarity to me. You can see everyone you follows tweets and even people you don't follow. It's pretty public. You have a scrolling list of tweets in front of you and you can add to them yourself. Take a look see and you will figure it out pretty fast, I think. Smile

you don't have to have it anywhere near your phone and can setup an account that you use strictly for sweep tweets.

OK, now I know I have lost my mind!  nono I joined twitter so I could get 2 more entries into an SA sweeps that was posted in the forum.  headbang Now that I have a twitter account, I can't find the sweeps anywhere!! scratch scratch scratch  HELP!  It is too close to Christmas to be committed!   crazy tongue

I don't know why I put myself thru this ... I am just too darn old for all this technical stuff!  Will figure the rest of the tweeting stuff out in the morning!  Signed up to follow SA on Twitter but the tweeting about it and the number I am supposed to enter really have me confused!   scratch scratch scratch scratch scratch scratch
