I took my daughter to see it this weekend.  I know it is wrong for a 44 year old woman to think that Edward Cullen is hot ----------but he is!  The movie was great.  I never read the books.  I didn't think anything could beat the Harry Potter series but I think I will be picking these up.

Well, I'm 50 and I love the movie and books. My daughters got me hooked on reading the books and then I stood in line with them and bought our tickets about 3 weeks in advance. Then when we got to the theater we had to wait in line again about 2 hours just to be able to get in and get decent seats. This was about 3 hours before the movie actually started. Since then I have seen the movie 3 more times. I have probably read the books a dozen times each. This series got me started reading another series by Sherrilyn Kenyon. It is called the Dark Hunters and is not really appropriate for teen girls but I love them too. It is also about vampires and other creatures of the night. Never thought I would enjoy reading these kinds of books but they are great. Nothing gory as I can't stand that.
