I bought a Tivo off of eBay last week and got a tracking number from the guy that I bought it from through UPS.  Now when I check the number it says that the address needs to be checked and corrected.  It is in the local delivery place, so what do I need to do?  Do I need to call them?  I just don't know ~ this has never happened to me before and I know that they have had my address before.  Any clues?

Tammy, you can call the 800 number.  They might be able to help you.  Otherwise, you might have to e-mail the shipper and ask them to contact UPS to validate your address.

Good luck

You can probably correct it on the website.  UPS always wants your home address to have those extra four digis fater your zip code.  I don't even know what mine are but the web site tells me to add it for quicker delivery.  Hope that enough to get you your tivo.  I have thought about getting one of those for a while.  They were on sale at Big Lots last week.  I would love to be able to watch Dr. Phil and Oprah

Thanks for the info guys!  I have wanted one for over a year and after doing my research on them decided that I wanted one that didn't have a monthly fee ~ that meant buying a used one.  The one that I bought is 304 hours and Lifetime Plus service.  I can't wait to get my hands on it ~ and figure the thing out.  The first time my kids or husband touch it... fired nono
