Murphy is hard at work here!!
WE Lost the baby - Denieka works at a day care at UGA and there was a bad virus going around. The campus doctors treated all the staff and children but could not treat her because she was pregnant. She got sicker over 2 days, and started to spot and within 2 hours had mis-carried. She had only been really sick with a high fever and throwing up for about 2 or 3 hours, but I tried to explain that this was the Good Lords way of handling things and that he has greater plans than we do, but it is still heart breaking. I was so looking forward to the first grandchild.
Then the refridgerator died that night....
Then her car engine died on the way to work yesterday - no hope for the old 1992 ford it only had 200000+ miles...
Felicia got a job last week (daughter) on her first day returning home from Florida, but her new boss decided that instead of her going to work fulltime at something she has been doing for 2 years, she needs another 2 weeks of "TRAINING" part-time. UGH!!! she needs the money...
PLUS I COULD NOT WIN A PLUG NICKEL.... I WENT TO BINGO last night we have a little group that plays on the first monday of each month and everybody else won but me, and since I have not won in the last 6 months, the all got me a consolation prize, "A PUMPKIN" so that I could make the Pumpkin pies for the Christmas party because they all like my pies.
I tell you if I could find Mr. Murphy, I would string him up by his 'TENNY TINNY PINKEY TOES AND SKIN HIM BIT BY BIT" AND send him on down the road to someone else.
Or bribe him to go see someone else. Time to get the monkey off my back.
Somebody send me an ounce of good luck before I have to send out the Holiday Package or it might not make it to you in one piece.
Rhonda

I am sorry to hear about the miscarriage. I too lost a grandbaby last week. Daughter was just ending her first tri-mester. She was at work and started having bad cramps. She went to the doctor and they checked her out and said baby had died at about 10 weeks. She had a D&C last Weds. I feel there was a reason God wanted this child early, as with your grandchild also. God Bless you!

Your troubles are very unfortunate and sad. As you alluded to, the Father does work in strange and mysterious ways. Times seem dark in this moment but what does not kill us truly does make us stronger. You sound overdue for something great and superbly joyous and I will pray that it comes soon. I hope Deneika a speedy recovery and all the best. Keep your head up.

I thank you for posting this, it brings life into focus as we are not in control and can't alway's have thing's go a certain way! The attitude we have toward life and the many challenges that come our way is a testament of your strength on how you answer and handle these situations.I know that everyone has a belief in something even when they say they don't.We all can be thankful for many thing's and people in our life. I hope that we all can have people with an outlook that is possitive, even when it seems that things don't make sence. Thank you for sharing a part of life people often find difficult and hard to overcome. May you gain more faith strength from this as you never know who you may influence in this life.

It is so hard to be a human at times! I thought that when I lost my Momma that I would never enjoy life again. Then within just a little while I started thinking of how much worse things could have been and what God had spared her and us from. We could have watched her suffer for years or many other things. For whatever reason, God chose to end this pregnancy, but bigger and better things are to come for your family and you. I know things are tough and hard to bear right now, but smiles will begin to filter in again soon and let them come without guilt. Sometimes that is the hardest thing to do.
Know that you and your family are in my prayer. I hope God feels fit to bring some joy into your life soon!!! If you need me, then feel free to PM me.
Tammy

Rhonda - I'm awful at consoling, but I want you to know I do care about you and wish the best for you and yours so don't let this pull you down, OK?
As hard as it is right now, try to be positive, and (as you've done) stay focused on the fact that it is out of your hands, and you WILL get through this!!!
I'm so sorry about Denieka - give her all the love I know you have in your heart - she needs you now more than ever!!!

Rhonda I'm just catching up to your post and I too, want to let you know that we are all here for you and yours. Why the miscarriage happened no one will ever know. But, you have someone above that handles all the IF's and WHY's of a thing like this. Just keep talking to him and someday the answers will prevail.
My sympathies to your and your family.
