Watch out if you have a cell phone. Text message spam is headed your way, even if you don't give the # out to anyone other than family or doctors (like me). I have received several so far, some really ikky ones  and some for refinancing a mortgage, which I do not even have. Bad part about it is they cost me $0.15 each to receive!

Good news is it isn't hard to stop them, provided that you don't really text message. One call to Verizon (the best customer service experience I have ever had with them, BTW) and they blocked my phone from sending or receiving them.

Be careful all, if some scumbag goes on a text spamming rampage, you could end up with a big bill, or with all your text credits used up...

  Im getting about 25 a day CELTIC  all of a SUDDEN this last two/three  weeks...  I refuse to answer them AND    to THEM . I also have a veriZon &  have inquired on why who what where all of a SUDDEN...The company does not have a answer... If its NOT a some MARINE jarhead platoon  Im NOT answer it.

Im on UNLIMITED minutes & UNLIMITED TEXTING but I sure will be on the look OUT now...Thanks for the HEADS up... I have passed this to several close friends also with VERIZON as myself and into SWEEPS...
