I was recently searching for new names to name my new little kitties. While looking I ran across many interesting names and some very funny ones.  I was trying to find names that suited their personalties.

Here are mine:

Gracie, a boy cat. My kids started out calling him Grey Grey which I hated , I always called him Gracie and it stuck. Now we always refer to him as her and she and constantly have to correct ourselves.

My new babies are named:
Bella, It was easy picking her name she is white and I wanted something dainty.

Tigger, This is the one I wanted to find another name for. My kids named him, he is a orange tabby. I thought Tigger was to common.  Now I could not imagine him as any other name cause he bounces everywhere. Very funny to watch play. He does not walk he bounces. I also refer to him as Tiglet and Tigglebit. He is my baby.

Begga, He was a orphan/stray living under my dh grandmothers porch.  He was following my dh around like a little beggar, thus the name Begga.

With kids in the house they always want to name the kitties, but sometimes I get to help.  Our first cat was Cleacatra.  She had so many kittens!  She would be nursing and pregnant again!

We still have her baby boy ~ I named him Albany, and we call him Albie!

We ended up going and getting one from the pound, we called her Isabella, or Izza, or Bella for short.  She had two babies and my favorite kitty ever ~ Booper.  He got ran over and I just was so depressed.

We also have a long hair kitty named his name is Fluffy or Fuzzy McNasty.

We had a stray come up and her name is Angel.

I love my kitties!!

Our big ol' puppy is Scamper!  He weighs almost 150lbs!

We have four cats:

Sylvester - black and white tuxedo

Jake (big fluffy grey - nickname "bubba"

Lily (our puffy grey girl) - nickname "squeakers" because she squeaks instead of meows

Kitten (we couldn't agree on a name so this just stuck).  He's half siamese/half tabby - the cutest thing you've ever seen.  Nicknames - stinker, Tooshing (my son got that from Borat -it's what he called his chicken?  don't ask me), butthead, and Newman (hubby named him that cause he's always in trouble - so we say "helllllo Newman" just like on Seinfeld!

My dad has a beautiful orange fluffy kitty named Samantha

In the past I've had a Charlotte (nickname grandma cause she was old!)

I also had my special boy Bill - he disappeared one day, but I'll never forget him!

We have:
1 Chocolate Lab named Hershey (obvious choice LOL)

7 Beagles: Harmony Marie (my daughter picked)
Brutus (the Beefcake) by my hubby
Socrates (pronounced So-crates after Bill and Ted's excellent adventure)
Scamp (already had his name when he came home)
D.T. (the monster dog) named by my son because he is a hyperactive dog that acts like he has the DT's
Chaos Louise (don't know why but she had to have a middle name LOL)
Missy (Potania) also don't know why but it sounded good when we named her LOL

and 3 kittens
               Mr. Bigglesworth (from Austin Powers)
Spider Cat (because she jumps around like a jumping spider)
Tigger because we couldn't think of anything else and got tired of saying Hey Cat LOL

And that is our menagerie!

We only have one dog & one cat left.  The dog is a little affenpincher named Mattie (her formal name is Matiesse), she gets called baby, sweetie, pretty girl & sometimes Neil call's her Cujo for some silly reason.  I got her for Christmas 7 years ago.  We also have a cat named Bugger (guess who picked that name out of the two of us).  This poor cat was a ferel I found as a tiny kitten in the back yard & he is still psychotic - poor paranoid thing.  We had a little dog named Tess for 15 years before she died this year.  We got her at the human society & she was the BEST babywe've every had.  Before these there was Tater (I know - we're from the South) the cat, who was originally named Cornbread (pitiful, aren't we) but that was too long to call her - Cornbread, Cornbread, Cornbread, see what I mean.  There was a dog named Buckwheat & one named Savannah.  We got my Mother-in-law an orange fluffy kitty who turned into a hugh cat that we named pumpkin.

Yes, we always call him Kipper Allen. We had a jack russell before him who we just called kipper, but he got run over. so when we got our new one my son wanted to keep the name kipper so he just added allen to it.
