"Dancing" by Elisa.... Its from this season's "So You Think You Can Dance"..... Lacey and her partner danced to it... It was soooo beautiful... I researched it and found it. I downloaded it onto my Ipod... I love that soundddddddd.....

I know you are all going to think I'm crazy, but I can listen to Lou Bega sing A little bit of Mambo, over and over. It's great for doing housework. Not so great while driving as it tends to make me drive too fast.

Anything by TOOL or Perfect Circle. OMG!! you like TOOL? I love em. I adore Maynard James Keenan - he's my kind of nuts I DETEST bubble gum/pop music - the inane lyrics drive me up the wall. Music has to have depth. David Bowie is a genius too

today the cd player was set to repeat joan jet i love rock and roll and then I had to hear bad to the bone a few x too but normally anything by the eagles or bon jovi gets the repeat button hit at least once It all depends on my mood and what kids are within hearing distance lol If no kids are near then metallica godsmack kmfdm and manson get cranked up but I am a weird one and often have a mix of manson and randy travis followed by some black eyed peas on my mp3 player

I can listen to Boston's 'More Than A feeling" over and over again. That and the entire Appetite For Destruction cd by G'N'R. Lately though I've been in the mood for something more aggressive and have been listening to Five Finger Death Punch and the new Megadeth repeatedly.

Okay ~ my ipod probably has whiplash by the changing musical styles!! I have Tim McGraw, Rascal Flatts, Amy Grant, Dwight Yoakum, Bon Jovi, Tracy Lawrence, (my cousin) Tony Phipps, Barry Manilow, The Eagles, Aerosmith, Restless Heart...get the picture? My music tastes are as weird as my reading tastes!! My kids think I am crazy!!

Substitute the country tunes with alternative 80's songs and my list is pretty much like Ping's. Anybody remember ABC's "Poison Arrow" or Tears for Fear's "Mad World" or Blondie's "Atomic"? I love that kind of stuff.

Anything by John Mayer. I love all his songs, voice and him. Usually not my type but there is just something about him.

3mkids1 - your ipod sounds just like mine!! Tracy Lawrence is your cousin? How cool is that??
I've got everything on my iPod - all those you mentioned (love Restless Heart - didn't know anyone else still listens to them!), lots of country as well as Andrea Bocelli, Kid Rock, Nickelback, glen campbell, fall out boy, James Morrison, Carrie Underwood, etc.
I LOVE MUSIC!

(my cousin) Tony Phipps
I should have turned that around ~ Tony Phipps is my cousin. He has written a song that is suppose to be released at the end of this month it is called "Take Me Back Home". It is going to be released by a new artist and I have forgotten his name. I will find out though! My Momma's family has many talented singers and songwriters and even a few pickers that have made a living doing what they do. My Uncle Roger has had two books of poems published and my Aunt Elsie has had one. We are lucky to have the family we do, but Tracy Lawerence isn't one of them ~ sorry I wrote that the wrong way!!
