There is no need to send dollars. Just visit, enter the sweeps or shop at the sweeps on the site with the red stars and this will keep us funded if people start doing this.

Ken,
What about site banners, e.g. recently there was a banner on the main page for the Lifetime Viewer Appreciation sweeps. Would it be preferable to enter the site via the banner or does it matter? Just wondering how we could help in that respect.

Would it be possible to add a separate listing for the sweeps that are starred? I don't enter all sweeps, but if they were grouped together I would visit each one everyday.

Dear Ken & Diane,
I concur with the previous poster. Many want to help...just show the guiding light. If it would help, I have an already paid for website that only needs development. In addition to banner ads to drive traffic, how else could this potential site help? As the HR guru, I shouldn't have much trouble getting help from some expert software engineers.

Hi Chuck, The irony in all of this is that SA has to use some sponsors that we'd rather not list, like the survey type offers that ask a ton of questions in order to validate your sweepstakes entry. If every member clicked our banners a few times a day we'd never have a sponsorship or funding problem and we could get rid of all the survey type sweepstakes. The problem is many people say they will help but either forget to do it regularly or never start. ( I can tell by the click stats that only a handful of members are doing this ) . So this is where everything stands and we keep trying to come up with new ideas to keep the site funded that people will be more accepting of. I am open to any and all ideas. Maybe you can email me your site url and we can have a look at that too. Thank you very much! -Ken |

I'd like to make a suggestion. Many people don't visit the forums, they come here to sweep. Is there anyway that we can post a streamer or banner on the new sweeps and expiring sweeps pages that people can click to get details on how to keep SA free. It can be simply titled How to Keep SA free for all. I think you will hit a larger target audience and it will remind the rest of us to get off our rears and do what needs to be done.
