Back when this instant win sweep started at the beginning of September I won a Pepsi X Factor cup.  The winning screen said I would get in in 6 to 8 weeks.  Well it's been longer than that and no cup.  Has anyone else won and not received your prize?

Generally, prizes are sent 6-8 weeks after a sweeps ends, not after you win. I looked for the rules, to check the date prizes would be sent, but could only find the Sweepstakes portion, not the Instant Win. It ended on 10/29/11, so you would be lucky to receive your prize by the end of the year. It could come sooner, but that would be exceptional. You may notice people often post how surprised they are when they receive a prize quickly.

One thing about sweeping...patience! It would be good for all new sweepers to get the right idea from the start. It really takes patience to enter, and to allow time for wins to be verified and prizes to be sent, if you are lucky enough to have won.  After all that, another good thing to keep in mind is to be grateful and gracious, and thank the sponsors.
