I thought I'd see if I could get some of the whiner's wall magic!!!!!!!! Looking for that life changing win, but small ones would be great too. Christmas is coming and I sure could use the help!

First of all, I am very thankful for each and very tiny win...a tube of gel from Redken, a coupon for cupcakes, movie tickets from Coke. I realize in the grand scheme of things I am blessed.
 
I must however, vent a bit and ask - how many years of persistence does it take to get a substantial win? I enter EVERYTHING and have done so for almost a decade now. (Sorry for the Eyore moment, I finished graduate school 2 years ago and STILL no job with a mountain of student loans and my neighbor's dog ATE my daughters' cat after he escaped the other night.) Whine, whine, whine, let's get a win more than a box of twinkies.

For 10 days, 10 days I have been entering the Samsung giveaway every hour that I have been awake. I have scheduled grocery shopping around being able to enter this giveaway. I really just want the phone, the TV is secondary. I want to cry every time its not my name. 

Well I haven't whined in a while so I thought it was time again.  I really could use a good win.  It's going to be a barren christmas at my house this year.

Still not winning so I guess I'll keep whining!

My first whine....I usually just enter and forget but I really, really really need something good. When it rains it pours as they say. First, took my mother to Downtown Disney to see the Princess Di exhibit. When we were leaving her check engine light came on. We checked and didn't see anything so we drove home to Tampa, about an hour and 1/2 away. Took the car to the mechanic and everything points to the transmission. 2000.00 to repair. Since the car is a 1997 and has over 102,000 miles on it looks like shes going to have to buy another car.

Then the washing machine starts to leak. Turns out the inside drum is cracked so gonna have to buy another washer.

Husband rearended a woman while in his company's truck. Has to pay 150.00 ticket which we don't have.

All that on top of my cat still being sick and going to have to take him back to the vet to see whats going on. Everyday I get more bills from all my hospital and ER trips from this past summer. I'm already 100 behind on my student loan.

Now I found out that my husbands company is closing for the last two weeks of Dec which means no pay till Jan. Its like "Thanks for working for us all year.....now kiss our butts and figure out your own holiday pay"

I'm so down. I usually love this time of year but right now I don't even want to decorate.

So, as you can read I could really use some good news like winning a new car or washing machine or money or
something. Thanks for the whiner's wall. I feel some better now.

mssc1985, sorry to hear how rough things are, especially at this time of year...you know things will get better one day at a time. Hope you have some wins to cheer you up very soon. I've just gone through the "Service Engine Soon" light on my dash too, a real expensive pita! 

How can I say this....I just won(caddie hat/Nature Valley instant win) BUT.......trust me, I 've never won "the Big ONE" so that's my whiner's wall confession.

Yeah, I haven't won anything but a $5 GC for Home Depot. Very thankful for that, but absolutely nothing else yet!! Gosh, I can't even win a free salsa and that's a 1/20 chance and I try every day!

No wins yet, so I'm still whining.   

Actually, I'd settle just for something going right for a change, or a week with no unexpected expenses, or being able to make ends meet this month.  But a win would be nice too (and probably just as unlikely as the other things).

On the other hand, I'm happy to read about everyone else's wins; that's what keeps me going.

I hate to whine.  I have only been sweeping since the summer, and I HAVE had some pretty great wins.  (A grill, a gps, a couple paperbacks).  Maybe it was just beginner's luck but it SPOILED me!!!  Now I'm twiddling my thumbs waiting for winning emails to show up.  Kinda discouraged...I've not been as diligent about entering my dailies, either.  I hit up the new one-entry sweeps and that's about it.  So, I'm not exactly whining, but whimpering.  Whimpering like a spoiled rotten child.   

ok...i give up....i'm at the whiners wall..........but not for long.....right?
