If you actually really won alot of money ,Please fill me in on exactly how to go about collecting the money, im very confused since there are alot of scams`and some legite ones . i supposibily won and im trying to figure out from who and im getting tons of mail everyday and im spending a fortune on stamps , but im still not sure if im doing something wrong as far as sending my prosessing fees . please if you are a real big winner and know the proceedures , id really could use your help in understanding how you collected your winnings and how many prosessing forms you had to fill out as well as fees. you would be an angel if you could help . id even give you a good reward if you can help me collect anything i may have won ..im getting restless and am up to my ears but i dont want to give up yet i think i did win but am discouraged by people who think im nuts. hopefully someone will answer a help or explain how winners collect thank you if you are one that may help me.cause im surely in need. from sylvia at ssantefesprings@aol.com

If you are sending processing fees, you more than likely didn't win and its a scam. Did the "win" email look something like: http://www.sweepsadvantage.com/post/viewtopic.php?t=23459[possibly swapping Yahoo/Microsoft names for someone else] Is the company overseas that claims you won?

I agree if you won a contest you don't pay for anything except taxes at the end of the year if it exceed 600.00. So if you have paid I do agree that it appears to be a scam.

1st thing you have to make sure of is DID YOU ENTER THAT CONTEST. If they ask for a processing fee then it is more than likely not legit. They normally need an affadavit filled out and returned, that is one reason I enter known sweeps with known judging agencies.

If I believed all the emails that I have received in the past 3 months, I'ld be worth about 55 million. I suggest that you take a tour of scams.com or the federal trade commission site before you spend any more money. Unfortunately, it sounds like you're being scammed.

Yes, I won the $50,000 ... I was skeptical but I had been entering the sweep everday for a month or more. I checked out ePrize, the fulfillment company, throught the Better Business Bureau. Then I checked to make sure the address was for eprize and I checked and found they do the prize fulfillment for many companies. I only had to send them an "Affidavit of Eligibility" notorized. I sent it registered mail to make sure it got there in time... Then I heard nothing till the check arrived. All it cost me was the one stamp and the cost of registering the letter. Good return on my money!!! But I still didn't believe it till the check came and it cleared the bank. Then I could be seen doing Cartwheels down the street!!!

Not me but if you go to the boat and win over 1200 they'll have you fill out a tax form. Like the other person said if you have to pay taxes you only have to do it at the end of the year. And yeah did you ever get the money?

Hey guys - the OP (sylvia1970) joined us and posted this and hasn't posted since. mscjn55 answered she DID win that much moola, not the OP. I too wondered at first, since the OP's post indicated scam

Thanks for clearing that up Amy. I was just thinking hey did I miss something here. Like I said earlier it has been a long week and my brain cells are just starting to get back in order! I'm so used to seeing the scams I'm afraid that I will delete a winning email. I can go thru my in box in thirty seconds flat. I don't open them all and I guess I should.
