Nope, and it's costing us a lot in heating oil too.

I used to love winter; but, given that winters in this neck of the woods are nothing like they were years ago, I've just had it with the season.  The season has gotten milder, and we don't get much of any snow that's worth mentioning.  It's been a long time since we got snowed in, and I miss that serenity of everything covered in white and not a sound to be heard.

we got some snow this winter and it was nice. I do love the cooler weather but when it drags on for 6 months it gets old.  I need to air my house out and its still to cold.   cussing   it warms up for a couple of days and then boom! back to the cold. The poor kids are so confused.  laughing  they have been asking every morning now for a month.. is it cold out?  They have sweaters and tshirts out.

The heat goes off and the windows open for about 30 minutes each day which is also good for reducing the chances of children getting asthma and everyone getting sick.  I have to have fresh air in everyday.  My mother used to warn us each morning to put robes and slippers on when she was about to air out the house! laughing

Right now, I have a t-shirt on, and my sweatshirt is laying on the bed behind me.  I keep switching back and forth between them! popcorn

I just get this feeling that we're not going to get any spring this year and just get hit with the heat all of a sudden. error

The weather has been weird here as well. But we rarely get a spring anyway. We go straight from cold to hot. We had a fire in the fireplace for Easter but the windows open at Christmas! I did manage to open the windows last week for a day or two, but then everything was covered in pollen.. LOL you just can't win.
