Oh, sure! I'll be there in 3 1/2 hours depending on the rain. What would you like? Hmm! I don't know! What's along the way that we don't have here? 3 1/2 hours!!!! Boy, you drive slow! It only takes about 1 hour from there to the ferry, and I don't count the full time on the ferry since you could drive much, much faster across the Sound if there were a bridge! Oh, and that's another thing. Someone needs to tell MapQuest and others that there is water between us and Connecticut and no bridge. Everytime I use a store or restaurant locater, I get mostly Connecticut locations since they're closer distance-wise than most here on the Island!  |

I was the winner of Sharon Elaine's book, "Ready, Click, Win!" It was a very useful book that gave me some new ideas for sweeping that I never had thought of. I also can't wait for my Dad to read it, because he doesn't understand this sweeping hobby, and the book does a good job of explaining how sweeps work so he will understand how I win!!

My books arrived yesterday (1947 wartime edition of The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde, a first edition of by Thorton Wilder's The Eighth Day, a 1914 edition of The Light of the Western Stars by Zane Grey). Thank you NotDeadYet – I can wait to read my new – old books! |
