AP - Michael Vick was ordered by commissioner Roger Goodell on Monday to stay away from the Atlanta Falcons' training camp until the league reviews the dogfighting charges against him.

I have to say I applaud the NFL.  I am the biggest supporter of innocent until proven guilty, but given the "hero" status these athletes have with the kids today, they need not only appear to be clean, they need to be.  They make tons of money and then get involved in crappy situations.  All while the kids of America watch.  It's disgusting and a disgrace.   

I should also say that I think that promoting, participate in and/ or betting on dog fighting is the most heinous crime there is!

I can't imagine that a human being could treat a living animal like that!  Reading the articles about the investigation and indictments literally made me ill.  What is wrong with people?
