For Those Who Have Won All Big Prizes

Just curious, the sweepers that have won the big prizes - money, car, room/landscaping makeovers, etc. have you stopped entering sweeps for that particular prize or have you continued to play hoping to win it again (have you)?

I am thrilled to have just won a television (my biggest prize ) and plan to no longer enter that category because one is enough for me. However, the sweeps for cars, money, or landscaping is still fair game and I'm hoping there is one of each with my name on it.

So what about you - have you continued for the same prize or stopped that category?

I have noticed that once you have won something good--you tend to win it again! (and again for some.) I have won a Man's Basement Paradise prize twice. I also see where people have won multiple game consoles, t'v's and computers. Keep entering them all! Lot's of buyers on Craigslist looking for a bargain.

 i've won a 2007 bmw and 2 big screen tvs and one home theater system. i still enter all car and tv sweeps that i find===you can always move up!! GOOD LUCK1

Seems to me that there's a "prize of the season" where most sweeps are offering say an IPOD or IPAD along with lots of lower tiers like gift cards. If I dropped all sweeps that offered an IPOD because I won one, I'd lose out on the chance for those lower tier prizes.

How other sweepers choose which sweeps to enter is entirely subjective. I know I avoid trip sweeps *unless* they have multiple lower tier prizes I'd like to win. So far, I haven't had to turn down a trip :crazytongue:

That said, I'd like it if more offered 2 entry points, 1 for the GP, and another for the IW prizes - I almost never enter for the GP when they offer that!!!

You are right, I do the same thing. So if there is a tv sweeps also offering ipads, gift cards, etc I will enter those.

Thanks - I enjoy reading responses like this.

I got teased/picked on at another site because I entered every IPOD sweeps I could find, and ended up getting a bunch of surprise wins {6 or 7? } I didn't know I'd won, so I kept entering for them, and it just worked out that way - that was the "prize of the season" back then :crazytongue:

Miller had a sweeps where they gave a bunch of trips away, but they also offered a TON of lower tier prizes, and I lucked out and won a $200 AMEX from it.

Some see sweeping as a zero sum game, where if I win, you lose, but I view it a bit differently - opportunities abound for those willing to commit the time & energy, and while it doesn't give a return equal to our input, if we are consistent, persistent, and patient, the possibilities are endless!!!

I like what you said and it is so true - while it doesn't give a return equal to our input, if we are consistent, persistent, and patient, the possibilities are endless".
