When I was in school I don't remember the class that would have helped me with being financially responsible for myself. Later on in life I remember all the mistakes I made when I finished with high school. It left me thinking that I really hope that the current generation will have a better experience with learning about financial success. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
It's a tough thing when you think about how to engage with kids regarding financial learning. Most kids would probably not be interested. The one singular thing that brings kids along is gaming. Gaming is a really a smart & fun avenue that would get a kids attention with a topic like finance. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
With this dilemma I started looking around to see if there was a place where they had some free games to make learning about money fun. To my surprise I found a site called Mortgage Calculator Money Games<\/a>. I noticed right away some games that caught my attention. When I was a kid every other kid wanted to be rich someday. Maybe they even wanted to be a Real Estate Tycoon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n On the Money Games website there is a game called Real Estate Tycoon. In the game property prices rise and fall. Your goal is to profit from the arbitrage of buying low and selling high. I thought this was a cool idea. It actually has the same concept as buying stock. Before I forget to mention, all the games on Money Games seem to be free. This is really great!<\/p>
