{"id":620,"date":"2011-06-17T00:38:33","date_gmt":"2011-06-17T00:38:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.sweepsadvantage.com\/sweepstakes-contests-blog\/?p=620"},"modified":"2022-05-25T18:58:48","modified_gmt":"2022-05-25T22:58:48","slug":"tips-on-entering-contests-part-6","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.sweepsadvantage.com\/sweepstakes-contests-blog\/tips-on-entering-contests-part-6\/","title":{"rendered":"Tips On Entering Contests Part 6"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It's been a few days since I added tips on entering contests.\u00a0 My mind flits from this to that so I gave it a rest for a period of time.\u00a0 One thing you need to do is to make sure you get your notifications if you win a prize.\u00a0 Sponsors use various ways of contacting you and you certainly want to be sure that you can be reached.\u00a0 One way is by postal mail.\u00a0 If <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sweepsadvantage.com\/sweepstakes-contests-blog\/the-best-sweepstakes-giveaways-for-you\/\">you gave the<\/a> correct address, you won't have to worry about not getting this notification.\u00a0 Another way you could be contacted by a sponsor if you <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sweepsadvantage.com\/sweepstakes-contests-blog\/weekenders-bliss-winning-from-contests\/\">win one of their contests<\/a> is by phone notification.\u00a0 Answer the phone no matter if you don't recognize the number because it could be that winning notification giving you a reason to keep entering contests.<\/p>\n<p>Another way some sponsors notify the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sweepsadvantage.com\/sweepstakes-contests-blog\/how-do-they-pick-sweepstakes-contest-winners\/\">winner of their contests<\/a> is through their website or their newsletter.\u00a0 This is my least favorite way to be notified and I generally don't <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sweepsadvantage.com\/sweepstakes-contests-blog\/tips-on-entering-contests-part-2\/\">enter the contests<\/a> that have this type of notification.\u00a0 I don't have time to keep checking their website and I certainly don't have time to open every newsletter that I get. I suppose the best way to be notified that you've won one of the many <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sweepsadvantage.com\/sweepstakes-contests-blog\/tips-on-entering-contests-part-1\/\">contests you've entered<\/a> is to get that surprise delivery.\u00a0 I've read numerous comments in our Winner's Circle about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sweepsadvantage.com\/sweepstakes-contests-blog\/sa-members-take-home-jackpot-prizes-from-sweepstakes\/\">members getting prizes<\/a> they didn't even know they had won.<\/p>\n<p>My favorite type of notification is an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sweepsadvantage.com\/sweepstakes-contests-blog\/3-reasons-why-instant-win-games-are-so-fun\/\">instant win<\/a> one.\u00a0 I really don't have a lot of patience so I'd rather not wait six months until a contest is over to find out who won.\u00a0 Those <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sweepsadvantage.com\/sweepstakes-contests-blog\/instant-win-sweepstakes\/\">instant win<\/a> contests just pop up right on the screen.\u00a0 I'll never forget the first <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sweepsadvantage.com\/sweepstakes-contests-blog\/sa-members-loving-their-instant-wins\/\">instant win<\/a> that I won.\u00a0 I had looked away from the computer only to look back and see that I had won a twenty-five dollar <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sweepsadvantage.com\/sweepstakes-contests-blog\/great-gift-cards-you-can-win\/\">gift card<\/a>!\u00a0 I was hooked on instant <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sweepsadvantage.com\/sweepstakes-contests-blog\/weekender-winners-of-contests-show-off-wins\/\">win contests<\/a> from that moment on.\u00a0 The point in all of these tips are to make sure when you enter <a title=\"Contests\" href=\"http:\/\/www.sweepsadvantage.com\/contest.php\">contests<\/a> that you know how you will be
