Arrow Do you ever hope you don't win the Grand Prize?

Many times I enter, hoping I just win the 2nd or 3rd place prizes. If I won a boat, I'd have to sell it, but the second place prize is what I wish for.... If you don't enter, you won't win. Mostly I WANT the grand prize, but there are times I cross my fingers I won't win!

All the time! I entered one sweeps a few years back and I hoped to win either 1st prize (trip to a nascar race) or 3rd prize (a Ipod) and won 2nd prize- a weight loss system. Don't remember what the GP was, but I didn't want it. Yep, you're not the only one that sometimes enters for something other than the GP!

It happens to me all the time. So far I haven't had to turn down a great grand prize thankfully.

Yep, the lower tier prizes are usually my objective, and there have to be a LOT of them if the GP is a trip to even entice me to enter!

I LOVE the promos that have separate entry points for the GP & lower tier prizes, or like the ConAgra Foods, Inc - Hungry for Football Sweepstakes which has 2 different entry points, depending on which prize you'd like to win!
Sweepers by nature are *always* looking for a free lunch, but if you value your time over your $$$, then upgrading to PLUS at less than a dime a day gives you the best bang for your $$$!

Add my name to the list of people who usually want the cash or gift cards, not the trip out of the country or the private concert from a celebrity. Experience type prizes are cool but you can't eat them, spend them or use them to pay bills.

It bugs me a little that sweeps with cash prizes are becoming more and more rare. I think most sweepers would rather have $10 from Kellogg's than a frisbee with the Kellogg's logo or another t-shirt.
