Recently watched movies

Eagle eye ~ C ~ eh,its watchable. Lots of action which is always good. The plot isnt original at all. Its a cross between Enemy of the state and IRobot.. someone has been watching will smith movies it seems. :laughing: If you dont concentrate on the improbability of it all its enjoyable.

I will have a couple more later im sure. Its rainy and nasty outside so I will probably spend all weekend watching movies. :popcorn:

The movies I watched recently was The boy in the striped pajamas that was a crazy movie. I had no idea what is was going to be about, it was a good movie. Really sad. But interesting. I love watching movies about history and stuff. And seeing into what it could be like then. The ending was like wow!! Ok i wont give it away. But I was like well serves them right.

Other movie, The guardian, so freaking good, I loved it.

Quantum of Solace-if you generally like Bond films then its a nice Bond film. I'm surprised they did not injure more people during the stunts.

I will be sure to put that on my watch list :laughing: I can deal with bad acting, plot holes, bad CGI but I can not deal with a slow movie.. :laughing: If Im bored its over. I do really like movies that are great visually but that cant be the only thing.

are you alright? :laughing: cutesy and a dog movie? I will check out Bedtime stories. I dont watch people and their pets movies. They are all the same. They never end well, unless the pet is good at sports or something. :laughing:

I like Daniel Craig but have never really been a fan of Bond. I will put this one my watch list also though. :popcorn:

Bernardo Bertolucci has slow trademarked. He has a movie where a woman has sex with her son to get him off heroin and its so sleep inducing you can't even get upset about it, or get up to turn it off....he could do a snuff film and no one would notice, they would be asleep.

Disclaimer~~ I did not pick these movies :laughing: I was overruled. Sometimes I really hate democracy.

Bolt~ C ~ This is a cartoon about a dog named bolt. Its typical Disney. It looks good and the characters are just adorable.. especially the hamster. Kids should love it. My youngest did and even my oldest who normally wouldn't be caught dead watching a movie like this enjoyed it. I of course would rather watch paint dry.

Role Models~ C ~ Comedy. :whistle: This is a typical comedy starring Seann William Scott. gross jokes, breast jokes..etc. It did have some really funny moments though. Bobbe J. Thompson who plays Ronnie is hilarious. He has the best lines in the movie. Granted its a little kid cussing and shouldn't be funny but it is.

I actually watched this one. Yea I know not one of the movies I usually watch. I was watching the little kid that says all those lines in the movie, and I was like ohhhhh. I wonder if he acts like that in real life.
If you can get past the gross, boobie jokes. Then I think its a cute movie. I didn't like the lady that was in charge of the big/littles program. She was sooo in your face.

This is the same kid who plays Tracy Morgans son on 30 Rock. He's actually funny regardless of the cussing. I know I've seen him in other things too. Pretty sure he was on the Tracy Morgan show, which would explain why he may have gotten the part on 30 Rock.
 
Wedding Crashers ~ B It's not what I would normally watch but I was pleasantly surprised at how many times this movie made me laugh out loud. Yes, it is about a couple of guys making up phony identities and crashing weddings just to get a little "action", but for all of that it wasn't too crass (not a whole lot of naked people except for one sequence near the beginning which showed a few women's breasts).

28 Days Later ~ C+ Yet another "killer, infectious zombies take over the world" movie with a bit of a twist. I would have graded it higher, but it started to lose my interest by the end... I was starting to wonder if it was going to take 28 days for the movie to stop.
 
Sex and Death 101 Because my Mom thinks Simon Baker is cute. Typical mild sex comedy based on Sleeping Beauty, some good moments. Oh look, Winona Rider is still alive. Simon Baker apparently has a rider in his contract to allow him to wear enormous knickers at all times. I would never watch anything like this of my own free will.

you should watch 28 weeks later.. its much better. It has one of the coolest death's of any movie, Its totally twisted. Its one of those that you just go OMG! :laughing: also, way more gore in the sequel and Jeremy Renner is in this one. I find him strangely attractive.

We have Wedding Crashers but I have never watched it.(found it in the bargain bin really cheap) Im not real big on comedies.. could ya tell? unless they are comedy/horror movies. I guess I need to watch it.

He is really cute. She should watch the lodger.. He looks really good in that.. If she likes him creepy. The movie stinks but he is nice to look at. I havent seen sex and death 101

Yes! He was creepy in The Lodger. Sex and Death 101 is by the same guy who did Heathers, which means he had nowhere to go but down. You can't top Heathers. Speaking of which are they going to remake Heathers too....?:scratch:
Right now watching an overlooked little sci-fi gem called either Avatar or Cyber Wars depending on which country you are in, its one of those low budget Australian movies. Good acting.

I hope not. :nono: ya just know it wouldnt be as good. I love heathers, I watched it a few weeks ago. :laughing: not a big fan of christian slater playing Jack Nicholson though.. :whistle:

I havent seen Avatar.. I will see if I can find it online. .. I did, under cyber wars. I will bookmark it.
If you want to see a great Australian movie on a shoe string budget check out Gabriel.. Its sooo good and as an added bonus the main actor Andy Whitfield is absolutely gorgeous.

Its by the guy who did Ghost in the Shell and they pretty much went to some eastern European country and rented their entire army. It has the cute dog too. That guy loves Basset Hounds. The dog showing up in color signals a key plot twist :) Like eXistenZ with cute puppies....Do you like Cronenberg?

And you've seen Equilibrium-I mean, it has Christian Bale
