AMOE Emails unopened by sponsor- Is this a bad sign?

I have entered some sweepstakes using amoe sweepstakes where they want you to email them your information to get a free entry. I have an email open tracker (I had this for business reasons before I started sweeping) and I've noticed that all of the free entries I've sent in several sweepstakes have been unopened indefinitely and since I don't know how sweepstakes work behind the scenes, my knee jerk reaction is to be a little concerned about that.

Do you think this is a bad sign that the alternative method of entry isn't truly being considered if the emails aren't being opened? I don't want to waste my time sending a bunch of emails if they're really not taking AMOEs seriously.

Sidenote rant: AMOEs always make me a little paranoid that they'll punish you for not entering the way they'd most prefer and not even consider your entry or block you for entering. I've had several AMOEs with broken links where I couldn't enter at all, or forms with error codes where when I notified the sponsor repeatedly, they did nothing to fix it, and I missed out on potentially winning a six-figure prize. I want to believe that no matter how I enter, I will be given fair consideration and a chance, but sometimes it seems like you're truly on an honor system when it comes to AMOEs and there's not any real accountability, especially since they don't have to tell you if or when they received your entry.

I am not sure how the AMOE emails work for most companies. I never did return receipt or any type of confirmation that my email has been received. That being said - I have won from Regal via the AMOE email process. I won the Hocus Pocus prize pack last fall. Not sure if they opened each email or picked mine at random. You might not want to fixate on sending a daily AMOE to some companies if it doesn't seem like they are opening each one, but I think it's worth sending at least one for each type of contest you are interested in. You can't win if you don't enter! I rather waste 30 seconds on an email than 78 cents on a stamp if I have the option.
