I just rec'd an email stating I won 1st place in the Indianapolis 500 sweeps (prize: autographed driver suit). I was sent an affidavit to have notarized with my info (ie. name, address, phone #, email, and SSN). Is this normal? Why do they need my SSN? Is it for an IRS 1099? I'm kinda skeptical...
