I wonder if we could start a category about what we have bought with our gift cards that we have won. Like Best Buy, camel sweepstakes Codes, VISA Cards, etc.
For instance my recent gift card wins:
A. I took my (2) $25 Macy Codes that I won and with a 25% off Friends and Family discount (be sure to ask for that this week ) and I bought a new G-Shock Watch - Black for $77 it was $160
B. I took My $50 Publix gift card card to Publix and proceeded directly to the gift card rack. I bought a $50 Macys gift card with the $50 Publix Card. This is a trick I learned years ago.
You can buy many different types of gift cards, even Visa or AMEX (it is like turning the Camel codes into Amazon credit )
Then I went to Macys, asking for the same 25% discount and bought another G-Shock watch - Red for $35 it was $110. So $275 in watches for $115
Heads Up! - The catch to the Friends and Family discount is I cannot get the watches until Dec. 3rd. This sale starts then. So if you are willing to wait it is worth it.
