After posting my last win I realized I never posted my AdJack win here!
Last November I discovered sweeping for the first time in my life. After diligently filling out sweepstakes forms for about 3 months (sometimes up to many hours a day), I won a few small prizes, along with a very nice jacket I won from Madberries, which I exchanged for a gift card of $300 at J. Crew! (J. Crew has the nicest managers in the world! :sunny
But I quickly tired of the process---too much effort for too little reward.
Although I didn't stick with sweeping, except for a contest here and there, I did stick with entering Adjack's sweepstakes because I felt their odds of winning were really REALLY good. And it reminded me of the lottery, which I admit I have a great fondness for, plus, their big jackpot is nothing to sneeze at.
Anyway, after almost eight months of entering their contest almost daily, I became very frustrated with AdJack and expressed my concern about the legitimacy of their site after having a couple of failed mishaps logging onto their site for their weekly drawing (they're still in the Beta stage). And quite ironically, two weeks later, after a semi-heated exchanged with one of their own, I became the winner of their CrackaJack Prize, along with one other person---so we split the $1,000 weekly prize!
For anyone not familiar with AdJack, they offer the opportunity to enter their contest up to eight times per week. They have a weekly drawing, which is much like the lottery, where if you match all 6 numbers you can win their top prize, which currently stands at $500,000! If you match the first 5 numbers you can win their second prize of $25,000. And the prize which has been won many times, almost every week, is their CrackaJack Prize of $1,000.
So, to say the least, I am VERY happy I stuck with ADJACK and won a prize. I received the check about 7 weeks after the drawing (and it cleared!). CEO/Founder David Boland, who I exchanged several emails with and is btw....a VERY nice man, said normally he tries to get the checks out sooner. From what I could gather, from talking to their public relations consultant, Rebecca (who is also a very nice person) they are a very small operation. David Boland is also a fighter pilot with the armed services, and from what I understand, others involved in their organization are also involved in serving our country.
This week, for the second time since my win, I missed winning another prize by only one number! I really can't get it out of my head but I thoroughly expect to win again! Two of their members have already won twice! Not to sound like a commercial (no pun intended), if you haven't checked out their site yet, give it a look. Winning cash is always a good thing. :sunny:
