adobe reader opening

Hi anyone have any idea why adobe reader opens every time I open the sweeps advantage page, and when I navigate to different places in the site it reopens on some. makes it real bad for me as there is a problem on my computer with the adobe and I have to take it in to get that fixed, so every time I log on it takes about 15 minutes because my computer locks up due to my problem with adobe, it never use to open when I opened the site, anyone else having this or any suggestions.??? thanks

Make sure that adobe is set as the default program to open .pdf only and not html or anything of the sort. Think that is under Start > Default Programs on Vista.

Hi kristopher, I looked there and there is nothing about Adobe in there, I am running xp, thank you for trying to help, you must be a pretty smart cookie on computers, can I just ship it to you and you just fix it all up. lol. the problem I have with adobe is that it won't run and when I try to uninstall it and reinstall new it tells me it can't be removed because it is a patch, I was told this means someone is logged in under administrative and that has to be removed before I can take it off and fix it, I don't know if that would be causeing it to run causing or if it is listed under the wrong thing like you said, and have no clue how else to find out where it is listed and what it is listed as pdf or html
