Got a call from a lady today that said I had won 3rd place in their contest. Stated that it was $300 coupon to apply towards laser services. Has anyone ever won this before? Will $300 actually help with their services? I have no idea how expensive these services are.
 
I have heard people winning this , but not sure which sweep that it is from. as far as what it's worth , I am not sure?
 
Oh God! I think everyone has won one of those! :laughing: It's no more than applying a coupon towards services, and laser treatment isn't cheap!! The grand prize was the only thing worth entering for.
 
If you read the rules...

For every 5000 entrants, one gets grand prize, one second, and 4998 people get third prize.
 
I "won" $300 toward services from American Laser Centers a few years ago. They hounded me for at least a year to use their services. As was mentioned, their services are not cheap & $300 is only a tiny drop in the bucket. I will have nothing to do with them.
 
i signed my friend up for it and she won the 300 and went down. she wants some facial hair removed (chin and upper lip) they had her sign up for a medical credit card to pay for the services. the total was about 1500.00 and with the 300 coupon it knocked it down to around 1200.00. she went for it. she saw a difference in the first treatment. of course they make sure they get their money up front. i was really hoping we could win the 5000.00. she really needs it!!!!!!!!!!!!! :laughing: :crazytongue:

oh and i won a coupon too! they told me i could give it to someone. i was going to give it to her but she already won so she couldn't use mine. so if you know someone, maybe they can use it!
 
i got a call yesterday saying that if i came in today i will get an extra 100 on top of my 300.

i don't have any money (that's why i sweep) so if they think they're gonna get more money out of me, they've got another thing coming!

i'm just going to go down there and ask what the cheapest possible thing they have, maybe like microdermabrasion or something, hopefully i can get something done.

maybe if i give them a hard time they'll just give me what i want and leave me alone. i'm not in the mood to deal with people! :crazytongue:

I don't understand why you'd give them a hard time. This is a great prize. The people at the individual Laser Centers aren't responsible for tha amounts of the coupons that you win. IMHO if you give the sponsors a hard time after getting a win then sweepers in general get a bad rap. I'm sure that at your local center the cheapest treatment will be between $1000 and $1500. Laser therapy is always going to be costly.
 
i heard somewhere that they give u the run around with prices, but they didn't. I just got back, they were really nice, i asked them what was the cheapest thing they had, they didn't have anything in my price range so i said thanks anyway and left.

So if u want to use the $300 coupon the least amount of money that u have to spend is more than $400. which is pretty good if u have the money, the cheapest thing is upper lip hair treatment.
