Another good cash win

Earlier today, I received a $1,000 Visa gift card from the Deal or No Deal Sweepstakes, so I was already in a very good mood. Then I decided to try my hand at a radio call-in contest where they play a brief voice clip and you have to guess the person speaking. Of course, you also have to be the first caller with the right answer. In my case, the answer was Evan Lysacek, the new Olympic skating champion, and mine was the first correct call, winning me $1,035! I think that's the first call-in I've ever won.

I love this country! :-)

But wait, there's more.

After posting about these two wins, I entered the Your Fat Chance instant win and won again! This time, it's a one-week stay at any Wyndham Vacation Last Minute Vacation property! I'm looking at Barcelona. :-)

I listen often ( especially for traffic) but could never call fast enough to win even if I did know the answer.

Yes, that was a WTOP call-in. WASH FM is running one, too, and you don't need to answer a question or beat everyone else at the dialing for that one. If they call your name, you've got 30 minutes to call them and collect $1,000. (These are Washington DC-area radio stations, for those in other areas.)
