Operation In Plain Sight Sweepstakes there were supposed to be five winners weekly for a $500 American Airlines giftcard. You could enter daily. Did anybody on SA ever win? Was this a real weep? Ended back in July but never saw anyone post a win. I entered like clock work daily from the start never heard anything. This started back in April and I'm sure someone from SA would have won this one.
 
:wave: I entered this one, too but never won. There are so many people entering sweeps like this that it really would not be unusual for someone other than an SA member to win.
 
I got a phone call today with news of my biggest win since I started sweeping! I won a weekly prize from the daily sweep for the USA network show, "In Plain Sight". The sweep ended August 22 of this year, and I had entered 36 times. The rules say the weekly prize was a choice between a Tumi luggage set and a $500. gift card from American Airlines. But my contact person said I had won the gift card, so maybe the other winners had chosen all the luggage before me. I don't mind, even though I could use some luggage, because she told me the GC is transferable and doesn't expire (after a year for instance). So I'll probably save it until I win a trip somewhere - or enough money to pay for a vacation somewhere! And I won't have to pay taxes on the GC because it was only $500! No form 1099-MISC in my future! There were a lot of prizes up for grabs, so it wouldn't surprise me if somebody else from ST won, too. Well, this will give me a warm glow for days, I'm sure! And to everyone in the ST family, I say "Good Luck!" And to Mr. Sweepy I say, "Thank You, Sir! May I have another?" Chuck.
