Anyone from Philly?

I'm going to be in Philadelphia next week for a conference (late Sunday afternoon-Wednesday). I've noticed a lot of tourist attractions close at 5 or 6....and I have conference sessions to attend until 6. I"m wondering if anyone has any suggestions of cool things to see or do in the evenings. The cheaper the better because I am an AmeriCorps member (as are my travel mates) living on an extremely minimal living stipend.

oh and where do I Find the best philly cheese steak. Sky is almost the limit on the cost for that...haha

I think it's at the convention center...hopefully if you're from there you know where it is. We probably won't want to travel too far from their just because it get's expensive...

I am not from there, but I have been there many times. You absolutely have to go check out South Street, and the best cheese steak is on the corner of Broad and Walnut-I forget the name of it.
