are movie fanatics sweeps are real!!

Hey everyone,

I don't know what to do because I'm pretty sad and it all has to do with the movie fanatics twitter sweepstakes because a week or 2 ago,I wrote something on here how I won something from their sweepstakes and how they mentioned me on twitter congratulating me for it and how I needed to send them a DM with my email address,in which i did but still didn't hear anything back from them,and so then it got me into thinking if they were real or not ,
but I wasn't sure if they were or not but I had wanted to wait til 5 to 6 days before I asked them that ,and after i waited that long to ask them that, I finally did get a response back from them telling me that they were and how they would be sending me a email later that day,in which they did which made me think that they were real and how they weren't a scam,and so I wrote it on here that they weren't a scam.

But,now I've decided to change my mind about them not being a scam because a couple days later after I wrote that on here I still didn't receive my prize from them which made me mad and so then I decided to get in contact with them 3 or 4 more days later asking them for a tracking number for the prize that I won and they told me that they were sending the prize out the next day ,and that they would give me one in which they never did and so then I decided to wait about 3 or 4 more days after that before asking them for a 2nd time and after I asked them for one a 2nd time they told me that they would be sending my prize out that day and that they would give me one for sure ,and they still haven't did that yet and it's making me angry,mad,furious, upset,and filled with emotions because they should send me what I won and I shouldn't have to go through a big mess with them with them acting childish ,but because of what happened I feel as if i'll never get my prize that I won and that they are a scam and that everyone should stay as clear as possible from them and how this site should remove them because I don't want to see anyone else get scammed by them.

First of all, I understand your frustration. You must however realize that these companies are constantly doing these prizes on Facebook and they need time to ship. The average time for most companies is 4-6 weeks. Now I looked at their website and they are owned by "She knows". I have not won from movie fanatics, but I have have won products from "she knows". I always have received the products as promised. Sometimes, they take a while to ship. I just received my $80 gas card from hershey sweepstakes's that I won back in August. Just remember, you are getting the merchandise for free. :wave:

Thank you for the reply wardaddy,and yes I do understand they they take time to ship and that they are free .I do understand all of that But I just don't like it what they are doing to me to where I'm contacting them for a tracking number for my prize and they're replying back to me telling me that they're going to ship my prize one day and give me the tracking number and then I contact them again 5 to 6 days later and they tell me that they are going to ship my prize the next day in give me the tracking number in which they never do and it's making me angry and maybe as a result of that I should get in contact with other people that were mentioned by them on twitter for winning prizes just to see if they got their prize yet from them and if they didn't then i will know the answer of whether if i'll get my prize or not .

I wouldn't sweat it. If they confirmed the win and told you it was on the way, not really much else you can do. Give it a month and then ask again. Also, how about adding some punctuation to your posts? Those gigantic run-on sentences get hard to follow.

:sunny: It may be an instant win, but they aren't usually instantly shipped. I don't usually even contact a sponsor after receiving notification til a couple of weeks after they say I should receive my prize. I just contacted 2 sponsors that said I would get my prizes the middle of September. They responded with 1 prize being shipped and another has a 2 more weeks before they may ship. I certainly don't get too excited about it. I once waited over a year to get a prize. In all the many years that I have been doing this, I think that there were only 2 prizes that I never received out of thousands. Hang in there, your prize will come. It's never a good idea to bash a sponsor.

Yea and I rec'd notice a month ago from Marlboro sweepstakes that my prize had shipped and I have never rec'd it yet!!

Will be giving them a call later 2day.......

Hey pmeek ,I don't mean to be rude,but I am definitely not trying to bash anyone and If I am then I am sorry . But, all I am doing is just sharing my experience about this certain company because I really don't like what they are doing to me because they are driving me crazy and insane ,and you'd know exactly how I feel about them if you'd entered one of their sweepstakes and won it and they told you that they'd send you your prize and send you a tracking number for it but didn't bother doing it .But,because of you not entering their sweepstakes and winning it,you don't know how I feel .

& also for those wondering,I had contacted people who won sweepstakes by them and they tell me that they haven't received their prize either,and so now I got my answer from them of whether if they're real or not and so I won't bother entering their sweepstakes anymore ,and I also won't bother with contacting them anymore either ,and I also hope that everyone will be warned about them before they make the same mistake like I did.

qtschartner - I'd go over their heads if it was me.

Have your ducks in a row - have the info on the promo: Title, link, dates, etc.

Find their main website and use their CONTACT US form, and/or go to their FB page, and comment - most sponsors won't let you start a convo on their FB - I try to find their latest post that pertains to their promo & post under that.

It's possible they use a fufillment company and aren't even aware there are issues, so clearly and concisely explain the issue and try to keep it professional.

Hey I needed to leave an important update on this issue . The movie fanatics are real because I just got a message from them today with a tracking number with me thinking that I wasn't going to get one because every time I contacted them about they told me that they would get me a tracking number and maybe they did but maybe they forgot it to me or something . But today I got it ,and so now I know that they aren't a scam and I had wanted to tell everyone to still enter them and for this site to keep posting them on here because they are worth it!
