For the last couple of days every time I close all tabs and then come back online I have been signed out of everything. email, SA..etc. I have to log in again. I have checked my FF settings and its set on "ask me before clearing private data" . What is going on to make it do this? I am not logging off the computer, I never do. Im just closing tabs. Its very frustrating. any ideas?

not sure what it is then? if it just started doing this I would restore system to previous restore point as last resort. but something had to change that

Thanks lee for trying to help me out. Red thanks for the link. It sounds like my problem. I am a little leary of going in and changing things though like they say to do to fix it. I might really screw something up. I will try the system restore first like lee suggest and if that doesnt do it I will bite the bullet and try the other thing.

In firefox make sure that your are accepting all cookies and keeping all cookies until they expire. This is in the privacy tab for firefox options. You can even add www.sweepsadvantage.com as the exception if you are not accepting by default. There isn't a reset all to default option as with Internet Explorer, that option is not in Firefox that I know of. I wish it had this as it makes things easier to troubleshoot.

I've got no idea if that will work either, but at least it shows that other firefox users are having the same problem :error:, it seems like uninstalling and reinstalling firefox would be safer than renaming things if there is some problem with the cookies file? Sorry the only person with a brain at my house is asleep

Thanks everyone. I tried everything suggested and only the renaming of the cookie thing worked. scary huh? yeah, sure.. just go on in and start renaming things. Doesnt matter if you have a clue as to what you are doing. whatever. It worked.

Wait till the first time you have to delete something from the registry... Glad that fixed the problem, however it did it
