I think they are cute, if you have the body for them. Also, I do not like the scar it leaves. I see alot of young moms that have the belly ring hole on thier belly button. But because of pregnancy, it made the hole a lot bigger.
It just looks wierd. lol
to many stretch marks,to get belly button done..but i had my eyebrow done, for about 3 years,i noticed people reacted differently to me,like i was a criminal,i didn't like that feeling,i no longer have it in,not for that reason though, but other than the reactions people gave,i loved it ...seeing a tongue ring bugs me,most that i have seen with it ,constantly, want to roll their tongue, and play with it..nasty
I think that if you are young, slender, and not my child ~ go for it!!
older folks are set in there ways and for the most part are good, change just doesn't seem right to them and everyone has there tolerances of things, me myself no piercings, not tattoo's for me I keep it simple but to each there own :sunny:I pierced my own belly a couple of years ago but tired of it quickly and took it out.
Last month my daughter and I both got our nose pierced and I immediately hated it and took it out because every time I moved my eye I could see something shiny and it drove me insane in just those few minutes I had it pierced.
My daughter loves her nose piercing but when she goes to grandma and grandpa's house she has to take it out because they wouldn't let her in the house with the nose ring. They think it's something that leads to drug use. I just shake my head at them and roll my eyes and wonder how they come to that conclusion.
respect is great, a lot of the kids in this day struggle with that as they want to be more independent and want to do things the way they see should be done.Well she doesn't mind taking her nose ring out because she has respect for her grandparents and loves them a lot. And would never go without seeing them on a daily basis. :sunny:
