The following Bugs has been corrected on Sweepstakes Advantage. Please test to verify.

1. Power Sweepstakes Search by 'Date Added' not working.

2. Power Sweepstakes Search Results not allowing use of SweepsCheck and My Sweepstakes.

3. Sorting preference in the category pages does save when web browser is closed
and re-opened. ( to test, sort the sweepstakes by date added, descending ) . Leave the page
and come back to it or close the web browser and come back to it. The sort result should be
your preference and not the default.

Thank you.

I'm not sure if this is related, but when I went to save my sweepstakes, it sent me to a page to login. (I was already logged in.) It wouldn't accept my information and now won't let me into my sweepstakes at all.

Please try again. I just released a bug fix and you were caught in the middle.

I can see the different categories of my sweepstakes, but it won't let me in, say 'my instant win' without a login that it won't accept and I'm already logged in anyway.

We have to test all the bug fixes on a whole other site and sometimes we can't test for everything. I found a
mistake in the code and just fixed it. Please try again. :)

I can sort and have my preferences retained!!!! I can even leave the site and return and it is retained! (I've been waiting 2 long years for that!!!!!! :sunny: )

:headbang: :headbang: :headbang: :headbang: :headbang: :headbang: :headbang: :headbang: :headbang: :headbang:

I can "save my sweepstakes" and it returns to the same page!

(Kill the cow though)

...correction: the preferences are retained as long as one doesn't close the browser .... otherwise it still defaults back. :error: :error:

Do you logout frequently? The setting is written to the cookie file. If you logout the pref gets reset.

I never log out ... is the cookie a "session" cookie or a "permanent" cookie?? Makes a big dif. It acts like a "session"

I don't have session cookies enabled in internet explorer and it works for me. What is your cookie setting in IE? Mine is set to "accept all" .

One thing to keep in mind is that the forum session does expire ( for security ) and it will prompt you to log back in. When this happens you will overwrite the cookie file and get set back to default. This does not happen everyday but it does happen.

I wonder why at first it worked for you and now it doesn't? This is what has me confused.

hmmm ... it is reset to default again this morning. So it can't be a persistant cookie ... once the browser is closed it reverts. (the first time I checked it I just left that part of the site and then came back, I didn't close the browser or turn the 'puter off)

I have "Prompt for 1st party cookies" "Block 3rd party cookies" and "allow session cookies" .

Maybe you can PM me a list of the cookies that control that so I can check to see if I have that particular one blocked ... but I doubt if that is the problem since it sticks per session.

(later) I ran various tests and it is remaining sticky today even after I re-boot the computer.  Now I REALLY am confused. (more than usual). I will keep an eye on it and let you know what happens over the next few days :)

Cool, Glad its back to normal. We're obviously not like Microsoft with 1000 quality control testers, soooo... Your it. :)

it flipped back to default again :cussing: and the 'puter wasn't turned off since my last post.

...deep and mysterious stuff!!!!!

Ken, is there a time value on this cookie? Could we have a mis-type on that value???

doo-dooo-dooo-do We have just entered the twilight zone! v Currently I show just 2 cookies from here (that I can Identify) and they are both set to expire sometime after WWIII when the roaches take over the world and Soylent Green is the munchie of choice!
