Can't win

Hang in there!

You're probably not doing anything wrong, it just happens that we go through periods where we don't seem to win.

Take a break, or enter, enter, enter. Eventually you will win.

Good luck! :sunny:

I went through a long dry spell but kept entering and finally I am getting notices of wins, most are small but none the less wins.

Keep entering, like the previous poster said the wins will come. The worst thing you can do is stop and give the prizes to someone else, keep your hand on the plow and your share will come.

It's been a dry spell for me too. But like the others said, let's hang in there and keep on sweeping. I use the Chicago Cubs as my role model. Look how long it's been since they won the World Series prize, but, as a "stressed out" fan, I will never, never, never give up. Hence the same for hoping for a juicy sweepstake prize :sunny:

And remember... {skip if you've already heard this :whistle:}

Sweeping is a hobby that is all about timing. Especially for those elusive instants! IF you enter at the exact right moment, you will win. If not? Sad to say you won't. But I assure you - it's nothing personal, and those who win a lot don't have any "secrets" - they are just consistent, persistent, and patient.

The sweepers credo? Enter and forget it. Always be happy for those that win - even when they win "your" prize  - and be positive you will win.

Reminding myself of the sweepers credo is how I keep my positive attitude, and my sanity.

I really believe that if you go into it thinking you can't win, well, you'll MAKE yourself right so often you'll start believing it!!! I truly do believe you have to have a positive attitude - don't get hung up on what others are doing - just focus on entering, then move on to something else - like posting so we can get to know you!!!

Hang in there - and enter, enter, enter - you'll be posting a win before you know it!!! And remember - every day brings new opportunities to win!!! :headbang:

around Thanksgiving I had totally given up. I hadn't won anything even small in months. On Dec. 2nd I recieved a fedex envelope saying I had won a cruise. No matter how long the dry spell I will never give up again. I don't know if it will ever happen again but just the thought of somthing like that keeps me going. Stay positive, it will happen.

Currently I have a total of 171 sweeps I'm entering and that includes most of the categories. I also haven't won in a long time. Although I love sweeping, at times it is a second job because everyday we're entering, checking new sweeps as well as expiring sweeps. I do early a.m. before work and now after I'm home. I use the free Robo form and thought the genuis who invented that is worth their weight in gold.

How do those of you enter 1,000+ daily do it? Do you have jobs that allows you to enter during the day? If you're paying $$/month, do you really make it back? Is it an automated filler that works while you're away from the computer? If so, don't you get DQ'd?

   I tried staying out of this thread ... but I couldn't resist any longer!

NO, they don't have jobs! They spend 20 hours a day glued to the good old CRT. Periodically they pry themselves loose from their perfectly molded polyester chairs to pop a 6-pack of diet pepsi, provision more pop tarts, pee, poo, and apply paste oinment to pressure sores on their precious posteriors.

But of course that is just the gossip I hear ... :crazytongue: :crazytongue: :crazytongue:

(Judy says that some folks here are gonna burn me in effigy for this ... but who cares if they don't have a sense of humor!!!!)

Loren Bros you do have a dry sense of humor and I got a chuckle from your response.

But who knows, maybe one of the sweepers is a directer or ceo of a company who delegates their work so they can spend 20 hours/day sweeping. I would think it very funny if I saw inside my director's office and saw a coupon for free candy.

I can only speak for myself. I'm a stay-at-home homeschooling mother, so I have some time out of the day. I do know of another person who enters as much, but he does work; but I don't know to what extent.

I do not use automated, robotic, etc., programs that enter for me without me being on the computer. Those entries will be disqualified by the sponsor.

I simply use an advanced form filler called "Roboform Pro". Those who know how to properly use it to it's fullest extent, which are not many, can fly through the sweepstakes entering process. Combine that with typing at 100+ words per minute (mostly for flash forms), and it's nothing to fly through that many sweepstakes in a small amount of time out of the day.

Loren, that is SO wrong! I don't drink Pepsi!
