Coke twist to text redemptions

Ok heres a new one. I have tried to redeem the $20 codes that are staying in my yet to be redeemed section and for some reason they wont come off of that spot and move to the redeemed part.Heres the thing i tried to get the Edo card that is not the reloadable one and just a one time use, so i know im clicking on the right spot. The page that comes up gives you three choices about your age and i click the one that says im over 18. Then you have to put in your information ,and the next section below it requires your social security number. Im sorry but i am not going to give out my number for a non reloadable card. Thats why i chose the one time use card so i didnt have to give my social security number. It will not let me go any further without it and in the spot where you put in the caspa letters it reads something like cokeutc 2nd phase. Has anyone else had this happen? I am just miffed as to why now they are requiring your social security # for a non reloadable card.I know some people would say whats the big deal just give them your number otherwise you dont get your prize, but i dont think $50 is worth my security and piece of mind and even bigger companies have had customers personal info stolen and used in identity theft. I guess i will just call the company and ask why they are doing this and if there is any way around it since they didnt require it in the past. :scratch:
 
hmmm.....I just redeemed a $20 one yesterday and it didn't ask for my SS#. Would never give it out for a $20 prize. Really don't know why it is needed to reload?
 
I used the email link from my last win and saw what tearbear means - there was a ? mark next to it, explaining why they needed it, but I couldn't C&P it.
 
Dansbrat Coke has a new IW game. You go back to text to win or whatever it is and just enter like before. Now they offer either two movie tickets that are printable or a $20 coke card,and yes they are still coming in the mail as $25.00 woohoo for that , and there are two bigger prizes as well i just cant remember them offhand lol. Its been a looooong day.Good luck and happy winning.
