:cussing: I'm actually pretty pissed @ my fiance right now... I did a balance transfer for a 0% APR until June 2009 back in March... Everything went through with flying colors, and I was thinking to help my fiance out, I'll add him to the card (no extra fee for an extra card holder). I told him DO NOT make any purchases or we will get finance charges. I look at the bill today.... He friggin' bought something for $11.33. There is a late charge and a finance charge that will keep on occuring unless I pay off the whole card.... I'm soooo pissed at him... I just called him and told him to put that :cussing: card on the counter and I'm taking it back since I obviously can't trust him..... Grrrrrrrrrrr

Thanks for letting me vent.... Sorry to run on guys....

Ouch! Yeah, that sucks bigtime. What was so special that he had to charge something for $11.33 and piss you off for doing so? LOL My hubster used to use our debit card for everything and I do mean EVERYTHING! He once bought a $.79 soda and didn't tell me. It messed us up. I'm still pissed about it

Girl, he bought a 6 pack of cinnamon rolls.... with a $39 late fee and interest rate... those :cussing: rolls cost $50 now..... I'm sooooooooooooo freakin' pissed right now... LOL... you don't even know.....

LMAO!! He'll never eat cinnamon rolls again without feeling that twinge of guilt.
Whenever I see hubby drinking Dew I still get a little hot under the collar and it's been a couple of years since his soda mishap.

Hey girlie, I decided to drop you a little comment since you always do for me. Me on the outside looking in I find that you are being a little hard on him. I know we have to with men sometimes, but at least he didn't take the card and go on a shopping spree. Yes, his fault for forgetting that he used the card, but think about his situation. Maybe he was hungry and didn't have any cash on him and that card was the next best thing for his hungry little stomach. But he should have told you. His fault. :nono:

So take the $50.00 and pay it off because it's something that is small and can be taken care of with ease. Tell him thenext time if he has to make a purchase with the card to be careful of his decision and turn in all receipts to you or there will be hell to pay. Or better yet explain to him that the card is for emergency purposes only. Anyway, that my two cents and sorry he had you angry girl, but go make up with that man, he loves ya.

Hi Claim .... I did a balance transfer in the first place $4,500 on the card with a 0% APR... BUT, if someone makes a purchase there WILL be an APR of 15%... That's why I was so irritated yesterday... So now in order for that to go away I have to pay off the Whole Thing :cussing: :cussing:...... Ohhhh you better believe we had a chat last night... It's all good though now.... He knows what's up...

I have done balance transfers at 0% interest rate before and also used the card for purchases. With my card the statement always showed them separately ... 0% interest rate for the transfer and the prevailing rate of interest for the purchases. Maybe your card is different and making a purchase lumps everything together. Check your statement. Now if you are late making a payment they may up the 0% to the prevailing rate but sometimes if you call them you can talk them into bringing it back down to 0%. But it stinks if the 0% goes up just because of a purchase ... you would think they would want you business and want you to charge stuff and have to make payments. Tell them if they don't drop the interest on the transfer back to 0% you may be forced to cancel the card. (Threats sometimes work) Good luck
