Declining face

Ok, so I'm 40 and my skin is not as good as it used to be! In fact, it's a lot worse.....almost like trying to win the IW's. lol But seriously, what can I do with the bags under my eyes? The cukes and tea bags ain't cuttin' it anymore. I can't afford the expensive creams but I would be willing to pay a moderate price for something that actually works. HELP...my face is melting .....

 I know what you mean about sagging. Trust me it all goes south.

I am going to do some research myself. I have heard using products you have in your kitchen does a good job like honey and oatmeal.

I am 49 and right now I have quite a few free samples I've won that I use. OLAY and other test products.

This will give me a chance to use prize wish search.

Thank you!!!!!! Hope Prize Wish was generous. I'm gonna go look at this! I figured this thread would elicit more responses. Are we the only ones with this concern?

I sooo know whatcha mean. I started using aveeno positively ageless a couple of weeks ago. When I put it in the shopping cart my darling husband says to me "whats that for?" Its for the wrinkles under my eyes I say. " oh yeah, you need that" WTH!!!!! are you kidding me. you are supposed to say but honey, you look just great you dont need all that stuff. He is lucky we were in the store. I wanted to kick his butt. :cussing: I guess I could have cracked on his salt and pepper hair but then he might dye it and I would hate that. I love the salt and pepper look.

:sunny: I am very fortunate to have good genes and also have used moisturizer daily since my 20's. I am 54 and have few lines and certainly no bags or dark circles. I have read alot about this however and although I have never needed to try this, they say that Preparation H, hemorrhoid cream works for this. Supposidly this is what models and beauty contestants use. There are alot of tips and products for bags under the eyes here:

Hope you find something that works for you!

I am lucky not to have a single wrinkle or line on my face ~ YET...but the circles come from the sleep apnea. I am hoping that with my CPAP that this will go away when I get a little true sleep!

I don't have any gray hair yet either...my sister hates me!

 I'm lucky there too. Just started getting a couple of gray hairs. My dad is in his 70's and still doesn't have very many.

I just tell her that I will help her pull hers out :booty"

No ~ my other sister offered to do that when Momma had cancer and she almost freaked ~ so I don't even go there...

 Hey I think, that's it!! For those of you with bags under your eyes, shave your head and no one will notice the bags! :3some:

 You guys are a hoot. I don't have bags under my eyes but do have some crows feet around the eyes. I did sun bathe and still do at times.

I read the one with the preperation H cream but never tried it.

Now I do have some greys around the temple area but that's why they make hair dye.

I am blessed with good skin, but protect it every day with sunscreen even in winter. My hands are very dry, though, because they're always in water. I use regular hand and body lotion on my face when I go to bed, and a thicker cream on my hands and usually wear gloves when I go out in the cold.

How you look when aging is largely genetic; my parents both had good skin and looked good as they aged, but sunscreen helps.

I won a bottle of Virtual Laser Collegan Lift. If you search Virtual Laser you can find the product. It cost around $25.00. This product is excellent. I used it for about 2 or 3 days and my husband & kids said my skin looked younger. I'm 41 with 4 kids, ages 17, 13, 7 & 22 months so you all know I am aging rapidly.

I'm 48 and still have acne. I shave my head because my hair is so patchy it looks like I have moth problems  Plus I need to get that coal tar ointment on my scalp... :tongue2:one weird thing is my eyelashes are turning white. I did not know eyelashes went gray like that?

I'm 48 and still have acne.

Now that is a problem I do still have...started when I went off of my medicine for my ovarian cysts and my hormones went crazy! I keep on thinking that I am to old for this crap...me and my teenage daughter are fighting over acne medicines!
