.... Tough Love? I don't ....

I can't imagine leaving my daughter out in the snow at the front door step to die because she has an addiction problem. That's exactly what a teacher did in a class I was taking awhile back. She said it was"Tough Love" and she couldn't save her daughter.

I was shocked and blown away..... I could NEVER.......

WOW. That poor woman must have felt so helpless to go to such an extreme!!!

I don't think I could do it either - I risked being court marshalled once when I was on my way to work & saw a cat that had been hit by a car. I pounded on the door of the house where the cat was laying out front and tried to get them to help - I was hysterical over an unknown cat, no way could I leave my child to die!!!

There is tough love and there is stupidity. Even if she didn't want to let her in why wouldn't she call the police and/or an ambulance to come and get her?
