Ever get sucked into a product scam?

We all should know better with most of these "as seen on tv" scams although, some of the products are actually great.

Well, what scams (proven scams) have you been sucked into?

I was just recently a victim of my own stupidity. I bid on some detox things on ebay, maybe it was pure curiosity or ? Don't know, haven't given myself a whole lot of excuses that sound good enough yet.

Kinoki pads or something like that, I only paid $4 or so, so I'm not out much. I started researching these pads last night and needless to say, I have 10 more pads left that will probably go unused.

Welllllll......I know they are not a scam, but I have had to ban myself from the Pedegg thingy. I am not smart enough to know to stop using it  Each time I have used it I have used it until I have caused bloody places on my feet. Can anyone say OCD???

Thanks for mentioning that Ping! With my peripheral neuropathy, I could probably shave off a couple of shoe sizes before I noticed the gathering pool of blood. I made some of that kombucha tea back in the day...before improperly prepared kombucha was linked with hepatotoxicity. Its supposed to be OK if you do it right, but knowing my luck that big floating thing would turn into the squirrel from The Simpson's Movie and come rip my throat out.....

You are all so funny. I don't want to try the pedegg because, I can't even stand emory (sp) boards and the thought of something like sandpaper on my feet just doesn't appeal to me.

What about letting little fish eat the skin off?

Customer Patsy Fisher, 42, of Crofton, Md., admitted she was nervous as she prepared for her first fish pedicure. But her apprehension dissolved into laughter after she put her feet in the tank and the fish swarmed to her toes.

"It's a little ticklish, actually," she said.

Ho said the hot water in which the fish thrive doesn't support much plant or aquatic life, so they learned to feed on whatever food sources were available — including dead, flaking skin. They leave live skin alone because, without teeth, they can't bite it off.

Now, that is just too weird. I guess I shouldn't be surprised though with some of the things done today.

You go on vacation...and look at all the fun you miss. lol.

I love my pedi egg. But I can't find it. Missed placed it since my last vacation. Probably left it at the hotel
