There is a time in everyone's life that they experience a 15 minutes of fame? Have you gotten yours yet and what was it? Perhaps it was related to sweepstakes.
I'm afraid my 15 minutes wouldn't be good. It would probably start with " mother of three snaps"
Does being on the witness protection program count?
sad thing is that , that is an average and includes the time you were born and listed in the paper and when you die and are there too ![]()
it is an average so, I know I have been on tv radio and in commercials for well over that period :laughing:sad thing is that , that is an average and includes the time you were born and listed in the paper and when you die and are there too ![]()
Crap, mine are all used up then - did a spot for local news when I was a kid, was in some movie (mom set it up, I never understood it) where I was wearing a raincoat and had an umbrella & was sprayed with the garden hose, and was in the Navy paper for Volleyball a few times.
Oh well, too old to care now  :crazytongue:![]()

It's better than a 15 minute of fame that some folks have.
When I was a teenager, a bunch of kids I know went to another regional HS and spray painted (with our colors) really obsene words on the walls of the school, smashed windows, broken in the school and destroyed a ton of property... over $75,000 in damage
... what was dumb was it was right after a football game and two of the girls had their cheerleading outfits on.
A person who lived near the school saw them, wrote down the license plate number (us country folks are nosey! lol) and called the cops.
Tehy were all charged with FELONIES. The judge and school agreed to drop charges if they cleaned it all off and then did other work. Would you believe three of the parents said no and took it to court? All three were convicted and sent to prison.

Serves the punks right. And their parents make me sick, not to mention wonder why they'd rather have their children go to prison than get off with just cleaning up the mess they made in the first place.

My kid would have been cleaning so fast it would have made their heads spin! I wouldn't have wanted them to stay in jail, but you know jail for a couple of nights wouldn't be that bad either...maybe it would make them think before they act on impulse again...
You can bet that whatever the judge ordered would only be half of the punishment...Momma would have had their heads on a platter!!
Some parents do such a disservice to their kids by making excuses for them or bailing them out of trouble all the time. My kids know, the older two anyway, you get in trouble and go to jail, we will bail you out once. and only once. So dont make a habit of it. laughing Not that I think my little angels would do anything to warrant a night in the slammer. laughing
