Have I lost my Grand Prize?

Hi all,

I know some of you have read my rants and concerns in the past. Ok.. well here's what happened...\

My husband I were out of town this past Monday (the 10th). He got an email saying that he was a Grand Prize winner. :) Then a second email and finally a call today. The call just said that they were checking on the emails and to call them back about the sweepstakes. We didn't know about any of this until tonight.
Ok so it's Thursday night and they started trying to contact us Monday. I emailed the lady back and had him to leave a voice message. She will be out of the office until Monday (the 16th) and we're out of the country for 3 weeks visiting his family. I also emailed the lady that was the "out of office emergency" lady.

I'm just worried that we'll miss this and this is the first thing that we have really won. :cry:

Have we lost out?????? :cry:I guess we could catch her before the flight. OH I'm worried!!! Can't sleep

I think you will be ok because you made contact. There may be deadlines they have to stick too, but usually, there is some leeway. All you can do is wait and see. I really hope it works out. I bet it will.

Congrats on the win. I hope to hear more about it once you are confirmed.
 
Read the rules to see if there are any time limits.

Check to see where there are internet accesses such as Kinkos, hotel business centers, and libraries in the places you are going.

There is not much you can do. Since he is the winner then he is supposed to do the calling and emailing. It does help that you are writing so they do know of the situation but it is his prize, his taxes and his affies so it is best if he does this unless they say it is ok.

All you can do is call her which you did, send them an explanation of you general itinerary so they understand the nature of the dilemma you are in, and do not worry. You seem to have done all you can. I have had problems before and the sponsors have been very accomodating.
 
I've looked for the sweep and can only find it on another site. I don't know what happened to it here. The link for the rules isn't working so I have NO idea about it. Seems like they would give you a week at least since they didn't call til yesterday.

I dunno.

Congratulations.

Even if it is not showing up sometimes Google will have it cached. The world's best researchers are on this board and can find almost anything. I cannot wait to hear what he won.
