I had google chrome on my old laptop. finished setting up new with windows 8. installed google chrome. tried to log in and get a message "If you've been redirected to this page from the sign in page, it means that access to your Google Account has been disabled." I go to password assistance page and no matter what I try I get "no assistance" asks questions when did you last login, set up account, what password, etc. when I tried verifying account name I get message that my alternate address is gmail. I do not even know how to access gmail so I don't know how that can be my alternate address.
I set up google chrome ages ago when someone suggested in comments to try using that to enter a sweeps that lots of members were having problems entering. do not recall when was the last time I logged in.
I basically use the same password (with little variation, such as a capital or symbol) for most accounts. but none of these have worked.
I would just forget it but it's the principle, my account so Let Me In!
so my question is: does anyone know how to contact google so that you can ask a question and get an actual reply?
