HollywoodLife.Com- Wierd Email Notice

I don't usually post this sort of stuff, but today, I got an email from what appears to be HollywoodLife.Com telling me I won a prize (doesn't say what) and that I need to send them my mailing address so they can send me my prize.

What I find wierd is that a)They don't address me in the email by name and b) They don't specify the prize.

What I don't find strange is that a) HollywoodLife.com runs lots of sweepstakes, so it's possible I won one, right? and b) upon checking the Official Rules on their website, it does say that any potential winners will be notified by email and will be asked for a mailing address.

Either way, just wondering if anyone else has received an email like this.

Ultimately, there is a name, address ( I looked it up...it's an Office Bldg in NYC) and phone number. I think I will try to call it in the AM. Will repost when I figure this all out!

Have you checked your expired sweeps list to see if you entered? The most recently expired sweep I could find at SA is:

HollywoodLife.Com - T-Mobile® G2x™ Giveaway
(1) T-Mobile® G2x™ with Google.
Restrictions : 18+ US | Hits : 744 | Added : 09-15-11 | Expired : 09-25-2011 | Rules

Entry Category : One Entry Sweepstakes

Here's another one, but for some reason, it shows up under current (not expired) sweeps:

HollywoodLife.Com - Billboard Awards Giftbag Sweepstakes
(1) Billboard Music Awards prize-pack. ARV is $1,197.00.
Restrictions : 18+ US | Limit : 1 Per Person | Added : 06-03-11 | Expires : 10-03-2011 | Hits : 1275 | Rules

Entry Category : One Entry Sweepstakes

Well, I called the number on the email this AM, and it appears to be a legit win. The reporter was as nice as could be, although she was not 100% certain what it was that I won. She said the promotion company would be in contact with me shortly with FedEx tracking numbers. Typically, they give away those celebrity giftbags and things like that, so I assume that's what it will be for me. I've always wanted to win one of those (particularly the ones they give away at the Academy Awards...!!!) so maybe this is it!

I'm also thinking that this particular site doesn't manage their giveaways all that well. Perhaps, there isn't one person "in charge", which may explain why expired giveaways show up in current searches, etc...

Will post more when it (whatever it may be) arrives...
