House Fire

I wouldn't do this for myself, but my sister just lost everything in a house fire last week. First off I am not asking for monetary donations, the Red Cross has been wonderful. I know SA members are generous, and if you have any freebie coupons that you don't think you will use, I am sure she could use them.

If you have any questions, please contact me through here, or at [email protected]
My mom is the receiving donations..and yes, her name really is Madonna :)

I did get permission from the administration to make this post.

I am sorry to hear about your sister's fire. I can't imagine what she's going through but I'm glad she made it out safely. I will see what free coupons I have laying around and will send whatever I can. I'm glad to hear the Red Cross has been able to assist. Do you know what chapter is helping her? I'd like to make a donation there as well.

Thanks! She keeps telling us (her family) not to get her much for Christmas because she isn't able to give us much. I told her that I didn't want anything, but she could cook for me :) She is a wonderful cook!

Mid Missouri Chapter of Red Cross is the one that was there. Many churches in the area have also helped out and found her an apartment with one one month free rent. She will be moving in on the 1st. I thought about the coupons because I have a nice little stockpile going and I had just gone thru them and pulled out the expired ones.

Ok, I have to tell a short story. She got a box of clothes from a local church and in the box was a new unopened package of socks. She sat down and cried. Socks...she had something that was all hers, socks. You don't realize how much you have until you see someone with nothing.
